Iona Ballentyne has been named the new head of the Werewolf Wing. The Werewolf Wing was established in 2008 under then head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and all matters concerning werewolves and werewolf registration was moved there. Ballentyne will now oversee the Werewolf Registry, Werewolf Capture Unit, and other werewolf support services. Ballentyne comes to the post with 22 years of experience in the Werewolf Capture Unit, some time of it as the unit’s chief. According to reports, the Ministry's Being Division will soon be carrying out investigations of a traditional vampiric practice known as a 'Bloodwell'.
