Dominik Skye Wiedman is a former Death Eater turned Quidditch star; he is a Beater for the Falmouth Falcons.
Dominik has a big bad reputation. He's a famous professional Quidditch player on one of the UK's most aggressive teams and has been called the single most violent Beater of his generation. Dominik plays dirty and very often hits unforgivable fouls. In the public eye, he is blunt, rebellious, and adversarial. He likes to drink in pubs with his chums, where the beer flows and the conversation never gets too deep, and very regularly he gets himself into brawls or duels on such nights. He is feared, hated, or mistrusted by many in Wizarding society, due to his having been a Death Eater toward the end of the second war. Unlike most (if not all) former Death Eaters who had been sentenced to Azkaban, Dominik was let off under parole and extreme supervision in order that his talent on the Quidditch Pitch could be put to use.
The terms of his contract with the Falmouth Falcons were under the understanding that he was a misdirected youth whose aggressive behavior could be channeled for the benefit of Witches' and Wizards' entertainment. His trials were historically scandalous and many are outraged that Dominik was never sentenced for his crimes. They cite his irresponsible and unremitting callousness on the Pitch and in pubs as reason enough to put him behind bars once and for all. Luckily for Dominik, his father has access to very convincing Wizards in the legal sphere. It is quite possible that even ex-Azzies would bear a grudge against Dominik, for being virtually the only former Death Eater who got off basically "scott free".
Behind his public image of Bad Boy or Repenting Youth, Dominik is an intellectual and an artist. He would deny these things in public, however, preferring to keep them private. Dominik paints, draws, writes poetry and fiction, and spends a great deal of time alone in his modest flat in London with the shades drawn. He is exceptional at the art of brooding.
Dominik is also notorious for falling in love easily but never knowing how to be a Good Boyfriend. He is a hopeless romantic and can very quickly become clingy, whiny, and suffocating in his relationships with women.
