On May 2, 2008 the 10th Remembering Day was held in Hogsmead Scotland. The event was meant to be one of the most important memorial celebrations the UK Wizarding World had ever seen. However, ex-convict Theodora Kingstreet orchestrated the murder of an Auror and Wizengamot Elder in front of an audience of thousands. She escaped in plain sight while a troubled Hogwarts student Kyle Gibson was blamed.

Kingstreet was convicted in 1998 of crimes against the Ministry of Magic, chief of which was attempting to unlawfully unseat former Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, and forging visitors' passes for Lord Voldemort and a number of Death Eaters. Thousand of witches and wizards gather at Hogwarts to pay tribute to the heroes of the Battle of Hogwarts. Theodora Kingstreet has arranged a speaking part for herself in the program and takes the stage to a hostile crowd. In the meantime,Marc Donnelly moves into the stadium disguised as Kyle Gibson, to lure Nicola Hames and the real Kyle away. The stadium falls into chaos as Theodora speaks, and in the melee Donnelly charges the stage and pretends to want to kill Theodora, as Gibson might. Marc decapitates Auror Timmins, and when they are both thrown from the stage, Marc kills Leon Carter on the ground.

Instead of Ms Poppinjay's tear-jerking opiate of a memoir, I shall be informing you of a very dire wrong you're being done by this Ministry of Magic.
