Academia Nicosia Student Led Fasting

Young academics throughout Cyprus rally behind Lykánthropoi Enantíon Toúrkon (L.E.T.) - a student led organization rebelling against mainland Turkish secondary citizenship of werewolves. Student leaders, Ozias Panagiotopoulos and Adalet Aydoğan, stand up for Cyprus and her ongoing support of equality between all wix.

Over the past three weeks, students throughout Cyprus mobilized behind LET to show their support through peaceful protest and hunger strikes. Aydoğan's father, Prime Minister Maher Aydoğan's death, precipitated the protests after arriving in Ankara as a diplomat to extend werewolf rights in Turkey. His death marked the dissolution of peace-talks and negotiations between the two magical communities.

The Prophet's international correspondent was able to get a statement from Aydoğan in front of the Nicosia University library:

"My father went to Turkey in good faith, as a representative of the werewolf community and Cyprus and as a symbol of our progressive society. Like others before him, his father's family immigrated from Turkey because my grandfather wanted to provide his children with a life of opportunities in Cyprus. My father's dream was to see the acceptance of werewolves in his homeland, a place he never got to call home."

The Diwan[1] declined to comment.
