Iona ‘Bruce’ Ballentyne is a werewolf and former head of the Werewolf Capture Unit. She is a fiery and hardworking witch who struggles with her own recent physical limits.

Iona Ballentyne (known by most as Bruce) is a werewolf and former head of the Werewolf Capture Unit. She is a walking cane using fiery and hardworking witch who struggles with her own physical limits. For 6 years, Bruce has been the Head of the Werewolf Wing within the Ministry of Magic, and she is married to the Ministry’s Head Auror, Zora Roh. They’ve now been together for 30 years, and share an adopted adult daughter, Waverly. Bruce has been key in driving forward new policies regarding werewolf rights and registration, but is severely limited by the fact that she had her left leg amputated in January 2018 following an attack at her home Roh-Ballentyne Farmhouse near Caerphilly by the Eradicate Lycanthropy Foundation
