LONDON - Finally!  Two senior Aurors arrested Vesta Baddrick (38) in a violent confrontation last night in Knockturn Ally.  Baddrick is charged with no less than 11 violent muggins and robberies spanning the last five months all over London.  She is known to have used the dangerous and illegal Dark Arts, and attempted to use the Unforgivable Killing Curse upon Aurors Cullen and Harcroft even while being apprehended. 

Both Aurors sustained only minor injuries.

Baddrick is known to have attacked and robbed everyone from teenage witches, to fellow criminals, to well-to-do philanthropists and as far as Level Two has been able to determine, the attacks were more or less random and unplanned - a reason Aurors cite for the difficulty in catching the dangerous witch. 

According to Wizengamot precedence, Baddrick faces wand-snapping and at least twenty years in Azkaban.

"The evidence against her is outstanding," said prosecution barrister Ermine LeBlanc.  "Seven of her victims will be able the identify her and about 75% of what she reportedly stolen has been recovered from the black market.  Evidence of Dark Arts spells cast at the crime scenes is incontrovertible and when we dump her wand, we have no doubt we'll find exactly what we need to put her away for good.  And good riddance!"
