Runner, the Non-Flying CarpetSapient magical artifactA magical carpet that was stored in the Room of Requirement sometime before or after the Battle of Hogwarts. It latched onto Philo when some then 1st to 3rd years were exploring the ash-filled "Room of Hidden Things" and stowed away in his trunk to the 2009 Egypt trip. Philo, along with Alvis Norling & Abigail Reid, discovered "Runner" was the lost carpet of a wizarding pharaoh named Amahté Ialu. They entered his tomb to return Runner, to ultimately discover Amahté Ialu now haunted his tomb as a ghost. Because of stipulations when purchasing Runner to serve him in the afterlife, Ialu has to "walk across it once every thousand years." After the ritual, Philo was permitted to keep Runner as the latest wix to return the carpet. Runner has acted up sometimes at Hogwarts but maintains affinity for Philo and his younger siblings.

Drea's HallucinationsNot an NPC in the traditional sense, but listed here for reference. Obderedria sometimes experiences vivid hallucinations, with several of the recurring characters being based on her faulty memories or artwork. They all share the same tag. They can be percieved by some creatures with extrasensory abilities or when other minds are touched by Obderedria's dreams. Otherwise only Drea percieves them in a scene, as they are written in Comic Sans font like with her visions.

Although the quickest way to rile her up is seeing Argyle flirt with other women. Whenever she isn't at the Canterbury Estate or on vacation with her husband/family, she's often about Russia, to be with her relatives, or Paris to help support Polka-Dot's fashion career.

griffon vultureLigeia rescued him as a young chick from a hunting trip to Greece. She and Argyle were on the trail of a manticore that had ravaged the nest, the surviving chick so starved it bit Ligeia's finger. She was not aware of his proper species when she named him Buzzard. He has soft grey feathers that whitened as he aged. He rides around on her shoulder or parasol contributing to Ligeia's unnerving presence. He was a terror of her Hogwarts years as he would mangle any delivered post and often fought owls for their kills. He roosted outside the castle and sometimes antagonized the Whomping Willow. One of Ligeia's companions during her world tour.

catLigeia's pet cat, gifted around the Christmas holiday of her 6th year. Originally, Yomiel was a cat captured during an incident involving Red Caps, although fled to Level 2 of the Ministry and spent some time shredding MLE paperwork as a 'feline chainsaw' before Argyle took him home as a pet for his daughter. Yomiel wears a dull red cloth that wasn't originally red and doesn't like it removed. Almost immediate 'pet rivalry' for her affections with Buzzard as Yomiel could reside inside Hogwarts, which Ligeia considered playful. This mellowed after she graduated. One of Ligeia's companions during her world tour.

Stumpts was maimed during inconceivable mistreatment by his previous owner, who was heavily fined and sentaced to Azkaban. He was relocated to the Canterbury Estate as a semi-retired caretaker. He always gets a day of rest after a day of work, although he'll cook meals with 4 hours notice. Ligeia considers him a delight no matter what he might be darkly muttering with his slurred speech. She has all his medical care covered with his pay, although he prefers the false leg he made out of soup cans as a prosthetic (even if it drops off sometimes when apparating). He's a slow but dedicated worker as he hobbles along with a fireplace poker. Other elves, such as Dinghee and those at Hogwarts, found it best to give him the minimal amount of assistance when he was focused on a task, out of stubborn pride.

Cap'n Patches was originaly a party decoration animated by visiting Salem's student "Mace Steinbeck" during the TetraWizard Tournament. 'He' has been rebuilt many times, something between a doll-like effigy and malfunctioning automaton. Perculiar claims to fame for Cap'n Patches include being obliterated by the Whomping Willow and being briefly possessed by Heliotrope LeJean during the Body Swap event when the two personalities of Casey/Hexy split between Alvis Norling and Helio.
