Appearance: A scarecrow with a pumpkin head and mixed rags for clothing. Nearly seven feet tall to tip of hat, thoughly gangly stance keeps the height manageable.
Short Bio: An extended Transfiguration experiment of Mace Steinbeck's, Cap'n Patches is a long running animation on low density materials of straw and clothing, a shambling construct that isn't really alive although it appears to have personality. Ever since a strange instance called Body Swap Day Mace has been trying to replicate the same level of 'artificial smartness' as Cap'n Patches previously portrayed when briefly possessed by Heliotrope LeJean. This work is to mixed success. Cap'n Patches may occasionally go out of control depending on the instruction of a task, react weirdly to magical influence or move about although deactivated and stored away. Mace and company also upgrade and change out the parts and enchantments on Cap'n Patches depending on what new purpose to use 'him' for.
