Appearance
Raquel has a round, attractive face and a cute smile. She has dark brown/black hair and her eyes are often said to be moon shaped. Curvy, bottom-heavy genes run in the Pienas lineage. She tends to carry weight in her hips and rear.
Short Bio
Raquel is the oldest child in her family. Her mother is Patricia Pienas’ younger sister, yet Raquel is older than her cousin Obderedria. The family has its origins in the Sonora region of Mexico two generations back. After the unexpected death of their brother when they were young teens, the surviving Pienas sisters found life caused them to drift apart. Patricia stayed in Texas before immigrating to the UK, while her sister entered the Magro family and lived in California.
Raquel had her own early struggles with weight like her cousin but found confidence modeling. She’s been a plus sized model on the side of her high school and college studies. Her calling is to enter community centered work with her sociology degree.
As kids, Raquel and Drea only knew of each other through family stories around the occasional pen pal letter. They met in person as teenagers at her sister Benita's Quinceañera during a family reunion staged in Mexico. Drea and her mum were visiting the Americas that summer between her Hogwarts years. The two soon hit it off and kept up with letters and online communication, whenever Drea had a break from “her boarding school’s shoddy wifi signal.” Raquel also grew closer with aunt this way, as Patricia was more readily available to talk to her niece when she was lonely for her daughter away at school.
Her nickname for Drea is “moteada” because of her spotty hair.

Raquel follows the online prints of Drea’s muggle comic strip. She’s more worldly to Drea’s imaginative but still finds her fun. Although her cousin keeps an unusual hair style, Raquel knows nothing about the wizarding world as Drea & Patricia have kept silent on the matter.
She’s taking the year after her graduation to travel. She plans to visit Obderedria & Patricia in the UK the summer of 2018.
