Obderedria's Faulty Memories

Obderedria has always had an overactive imagination, especially when it comes to learning magic. Ever since being obliviated in her 2nd year, however, her daydreams & divinations & flawed perceptions have led to some of her recollections of her life being downright faulty.

HufflePUFFS Slumber Party

1st Year (2008-2009)

Obderedria and her roommates Heliotrope LeJean, Dahlia Collins, Harper O'Malley, Mary Beth MacEvoy & Venora MacGregor overtake the Hufflepuff Common Room for a slumber party. Drea brings marshmallows and Heliotrope brings fish. Dahlia drags Pax Wintergreen & Peter Marcolf into having their toes painted. Heliotrope drinks the nail polish.

Actual Thread: There was a multi-age, cross house girls' slumber party in the Astronomy Tower following the 2008 Halloween Ball. Neither Obderedria nor Heliotrope were in attendance.[1]

Mirrored Egg Hatching

2nd Year (2009-2010)

Several 2nd years, Hufflepuffs over a quarter of those involved, discover what is believed to be a petrified dragon egg in the back of a potions storeroom. For those eager to take Creatures in their 3rd year, this band of the second year class collectivly try to hatch the egg. It's passed from student to student, house to house to avoid discovery from the prefects and staff. Philo Falkin is one of the student researchers who suggests it may be an Occamy egg or that of a new species of Chimera. Drea remembers handling the egg, covering it in blankets and such, and that there was a flurry of the caretakers trying to mobilize between lunch and afternoon classes one day when it starts hatching. If pressed on the matter, she can't say what creature actually hatched from the egg.

Yuletide Birds & the Bees

2nd Year (Jan 2010)

Following plenty of intimate liaisons broken up during the Yule Ball, January sees many a "magical sex ed" seminar for each grade run by the likes of Counselor Maiko Biladeau-Yukawa, Caretaker (and lion!) Felinus Woodward, and Professors Ignan Storm and Arianne Desrosiers among others. There was huge amounts of owl post from concerned parents. Somehow Obderedria claims to know every embarrassing topic regardless of intended audience, and that Heliotrope was very frank about merpeople reproduction.

Actual Thread: A Q&A panel followed a set of sex ed seminars on March 27th, 2011. This was over a year from the “date” of the first one as Drea remembered it. Counselor Biladeau-Yukawa oversaw the Q&A, but the lineup of speakers was mainly experts from outside the school. [2]

The Twisted Times of Mr. Potter; A play in 2 acts

3rd Year (2010-2011)

The Hogwarts Players, under Ligeia Canterbury's leadership, rehearsed a hodge-podge, heavily abridged version of Harry Potter's time at Hogwarts with tremendous artistic liberties. Among various changes: Casey O'Doherty played Draco Malfoy, who made crayon drawings and wanted a solo, but Casey was highly critical of the script; Cho Chang's & Lavender Brown's parts were mixed up; Albus Dumbledore is apparently flirting with Delores Umbridge; The House of Malfoy was known for studying ballet; and Philo is at the prop table sorting red licorice used in place of wands on-stage. Obderedria was to play Hermione Granger yet was unable to say the swear words in the second verse of Hermione's big solo.
