Yomiel is a black cat with certain distinctive features. His left eye has been gouged out though a small bit remains. He chin and chest are white, along with one white toe on his rear right paw. The last half of his tail is ashen grey.

Yomiel wears a scrap of red cloth around his neck. It smells horrible, no matter how many times it's washed. The cloth was not originally red. It's best not to ask questions.

At Absit Omen

Yomiel was a christmas present for Ligeia Canterbury over the 2009 Winter Holidays. Yomiel was discovered during an incident involving 'tourists and Red Caps ' and was captured during the Ministry intervention where he spent two days 'terrorizing Ministry paperwork' until Argyle Canterbury took him home for his daughter Ligeia.

Since Christmas, Ligeia has tamed Yomiel's feral tendencies somewhat and he's a much more subdued creature in her presence. To about everything else, he's a 'loudly yowling vengeful feline that appears to be cross bred with a chainsaw.' Yomiel won't draw blood unless he's hunting rodents but he will shred nearly anything else with his claws. Ligeia is oblivious to her new pet's destructive tendencies because, after all, it's nothing a good Reparo can't fix.

Being the new pet has also made Buzzard jealous. Their 'playful prowls' (according to Ligeia) in the forest have actually scared a few of the forest residents.
