Pepper Codewords

The Pepper family have worked with time-turners and time for generations. As such the family has established a code amongst them for temporal disturbances. This has casually extended to other convenient purposes.

• Bluebottle - serious temporal disturbance or event. The only time this has been used in living memory is October 2012 for Plot:Broken Clock but there have been a few moments that came close.

• Kangaroo - being thrown back in time, unintentionally. Monty Pepper holds the family record for biggest kangaroo when he was thrown back in time twenty years.

• Third Cousin Rudy - a code between siblings Monty Pepper and Francis Pepper to indicate they need to speak in private about something. Established when they were children, and as adults woven into conversation like 'something made me think about cousin Rudy'. If anyone asks about cousin Rudy, they evade scrutiny with statements like 'you had to be there' and 'it doesn't hold up to retelling'.

• Catherine Pepper - muggle wife of Monty
• Theta Pepper - unspeakable and daughter of Monty
• Zeta Pepper - daughter of Monty
• Eta Pepper - daughter of Monty
