| Summary: | Several members of the Hogwarts Staff along with Hogwarts School Board Chairwix Minerva McGonagall congregate to discuss the lifelessness of the Sorting Hat and review their options. When a connection between the Sword of Gryffindor and the Sorting Hat is proposed, Headmaster Knox Greyfriar attempts a summoning spell which is unsuccessful. The portrait of Severus Snape then informs the council that the Sword had been loaned to The National Museum of Wizarding History by retired Headmaster Herschel Reid. Ignan Storm, Deputy Headmaster, then notices a copy of The Evening Prophet with a headline reading: GRYFFINDOR SWORD SWIPED. | ||
