Johann Storm
Alumni of Durmstrang, Johann was born in Hannover, Germany. After graduating, he traveled much around the world to improve his linguistic skills. On returning to Germany, he became a consulting linguist for the hospitals, tradesmen and Ministry. He earned considerable amounts for accurately translating legal documents and contracts, documents that tradesmen were reluctant to draw up by magic as they could be tampered with. He also taught languages to a handful of paying customers.
Johann left Germany in a hurry after trying to assist the Germany ministry in convicting a criminal who had sought Johann for help. The Ministry handled it poorly, and Johann fled the revenge sought by the criminal. He is now beginning a life in Britain, hoping to be employed in the Ministry of Magic.
Johann's father is Wolfgang Storm.
His great uncle is famous former Durmstrang's headmster, Merik Storm, he is a cousin to Vasily Volkov, and Ignan Storm, and by extension, Gabrielle Murray-Harker. Is currently a translator with the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
In January 2010 it is revealed he has become engaged to werewolf and healer, Hannah Bombay, which occurred on Christmas Day 2009. This is a surprise to many of those close to Johann.
