Sasha's Abduction

From Absit Omen Lexicon

Sasha Schlagenweit is abducted following his suspension from Hogwarts and spends the remainder of term in the strange fantasy world of criminal mastermind Kronos Malvivicus. Learning to focus the fear of his situation onto Kronos's right-hand man Terry Katsaros, Sasha accepts Kronos as the quirky father figure he's attempting to be. After his kidnapping Sasha experiences a little Stockholm Syndrome and Kronos continues manipulating his life and doing away with those who stand in his "prodigy's" path. Meanwhile Sasha's sister and friends attempt to locate him, worrying themselves sick over his whereabouts only to receive belated and pointedly arrogant letters about his exquisite vacation. Headmistress Analiza Snark informs Sasha's parents of his status as Wizard and he is put on house arrest by his disapproving parents, giving Kronos an entry that he doesn't hesitate to take advantage of.

The Most Tragic Story of a Boy by Rita Skeeter

The first of a long chain of events, sensationalist Rita Skeeter advertises fifth year Ravenclaw Sasha Schlagenweit's lack of father to the entire U.K. Wizarding community. Far off on the Isle of Skye, Kronos indulges in the story, thinking... little of it, except that he had hated (and killed) his own father and, the story was memorable.

Will this young man’s anguish ever be subdued, or must he be doomed to spend eternity looking at every passing man’s face and wondering whether that is the man who made his mark on the earth in the form of this wonderful, handsome, intelligent and modest creature?

Tinker, Tailor, Wizard, Liar? by Rita Skeeter

The first article might not have been terribly interesting to Kronos Malvivicus, but the second did what the first couldn't -- it gave him a sense of connection to the muggleborn boy, it perked his fancy. And caused the gears to start turning in the mass murderer's mind.

Many of you will remember my story on the poor, misunderstood Ravenclaw fifth year by the name of Sasha Schlagenweit. This defenceless, shy and introverted boy was just trying to get through life, pass his wizarding exams and find some fatherly love.

We were all wrong.

An ulterior motive was playing at hand in this; this young boy is sneakier than we all thought. Have you ever heard of a boy who lies to his parents about being a wizard?

Kronos Malvivicus orders Terry Katsaros to find Sasha Schlagenweit and bring him to his castle on the Isle of Skye.

Mercy, I Know Ye Not with Kronos Malvivicus and Terry Katsaros

But this boy, this Sasha Schlagenweit, he was a diamond in the rough, he was. He was the most beautiful creature Kronos had ever seen. His situation was precarious, and the boy would need to make a choice. If he could be crafted, if he could be influenced under Kronos's spoiling hand -- he could make the boy in his own image. He could have a muggle-born purist son who rose to the top, like him, proving his allegiances to his own great power by having his vindictive, disgusting family ousted. He was convinced that he could cause the boy to make that choice. The boy would never leave him, he'd be so grateful. Kronos and Sasha forever. Oh yes.

Headmistress of Hogwarts Analiza Snark suspends two "problem students" for the remainder of term, creating a convenient situation for Sasha's abduction.

Retributions with Sasha Schlagenweit, Madeline Pratt and Analiza Snark

Biting back a hateful laugh, Analiza took her seat and crossed her legs, staring at her nails as though they held more interest for her then anything he could say. "Then I would suggest you sit down and shut up then, Mr. Schlagenweit, for the ministry has no jurisdiction over how I punish my students..." She said stiffly, refusing to even give him a passing glance. A "Ministry appointed representative"? How ridiculously muggle of him. Picking up some rather foreboding files from their resting place on her desk, Analiza shuffled through them silently for a moment, letting the pair stew in their thoughts.

Analiza Snark

Taking advantage of the boy's wayward weariness on the tail end of his suspension, Terry Katsaros abducts Sasha Schlagenweit and disapparates away from Hogsmeade with his incapacitated prize. Sasha has a terrifyingly strange welcome to the castle on the Isle of Skye and is pampered nearly to death. Several hours later, he sits down to dinner with none other than Kronos Malvivicus, where the pair play twenty questions.

A Dark Path Written in the Stars with Sasha Schlagenweit, Terry Katsaros and Kronos Malvivicus

There was no challenge here. Collapsed against the wall, unable to think clearly enough to finish a sentence, Schlagenweit didn't look as though he had an inch of backbone in him. Even if the German boy struggled, how hard would it really be to break him? Terry doubted that the Old Man would have to lift a finger to bring the youth to his beck and call. Perhaps that was part of the attraction to Kronos, but it seemed a waste of effort. Here he was, being forced to outsource so many more worthy hunts and being set instead against a schoolboy who barely required an exertion.

Sasha's Muggle Studies professor Isaac Fraiser pays a visit to his Muggle sister Jacoba with the news that he has been suspended and his whereabouts are unknown. The pair begin to search for the boy, starting with friend and Ministry contact Dreogan Eleor, who uses a scrying mirror to determine Sasha's whereabouts.

Unexpected Visits with Isaac Fraiser, Jacoba Schlagenweit and Dreogan Eleor

There were. . . Christmas Trees, he could tell. One set back behind several arches.none of this was helpful and there was no Sasha until, a moment later . . . Sasha entered. But not of his own accord; Dreogan could see tears trailing down his cheeks. In fact, he was not moving, though he was moving forward. Perhaps under the influence of a petrifying spell. Dree gave a growl of frustration as the image rippled and grew blurry -- his emotions clouding the image -- before setting his jaw more firmly, willing his feelings and thoughts away.

He was only Eyes. Not heart or mind.

Dreogan Eleor

The search continues as Isaac accompanies Jacoba Schlagenweit to a relative's home in Germany to see if Sasha is there by chance.

A Visit Home and a Beer or Two with Jacoba Schlagenweit and Isaac Fraiser

"I ... thank you," she offered awkwardly. It was remarkable how much that gratitude could have accounted for in this moment. The coat, the transportation, for simply still being there. She highly doubted she could approach this alone and keep her sanity in check. "We're ... where - one second." Her intentions had been to venture forth and figure out where they were but she hung onto Isaac's arm a few extra minutes as she waited for her head to, finally, catch up to where they were. They were, largely, surrounded by hemlock trees though a long lake stretched out in front of them. A thin sheet of ice darkened the edge of the water and the sky was overcast; the stray flurry escaping from its mist.

The search for Sasha Schlagenweit comes to Hogwarts, where some of his friends and classmates are asked to share any information as to where he might have gone.

A Muggle at Hogwarts with Jacoba Schlagenweit, Peyton Wentworth, Ferguson Amherst, Isaac Fraiser, and Neely Woolfolk

Definitely not a joke, then. Fergie felt an anxious knot forming in his stomach as the dark haired girl continued speaking. How could they... how could they not know where Sasha was? The Slytherin shook his head and blinked, moving over to the nearest chair and lowering himself into it.

Rather than being reassured by the realization, upon his entrance, that Professor Fraiser was involved, this only served to increase his concern. If the school was involved in the search, then this was really...serious. Not that it wouldn't be anyway, it wasn't like Sasha was a missing puppy. They couldn't just put up posters asking if anyone had seen him and leave it at that. But that was what it took for things to start sinking in.

Ferguson Amherst

A letter arrives from 5th year Slytherin bully Callum Knight for Sasha, belittling him for having kissed a boy (Ferguson Amherst) at school just prior to his suspension. Kronos, being both gay himself and screening Sasha's letters, tries to nip the problem in the bud with some dirty "Defense" lessons after encouraging Sasha to come out of the closet to him.

Straighten Up and Fly Right with Kronos Malvivicus, Sasha Schlagenweit, and Terry Katsaros

He'd lulled himself into the false hope that he'd managed to escape all that and put it behind him. But, he was wrong. Very wrong. It had followed him here, somehow, on the wings of a letter from Callum into the hands of Kronos. And now Kronos was - was urging Sasha ... to believe being like that was okay. That being like him was alright. That, Kronos would accept if Sasha was like that. Kronos, of course, was in the minority there - a small slim minority. And, Sasha couldn't help wondering, when the man's opinion had begun to have weight in the mass of voices and opinions in his head. And, how much weight it held.

Sasha Schlagenweit

Meanwhile, Jacoba Schlagenweit and Isaac Fraiser head to her and Sasha's parents' home in London as a last resort. Having been disowned by their family, Jacoba is none too welcome, and the pair have to be persistent and even a tad confrontational to get the answers they seek.

The Roads Finally Lead Home with Jacoba Schlagenweit and Isaac Fraiser

It was nearly dark and there was one final stop that needed to be made at the end of what had been a horribly long and stressful weekend. This was perhaps going to be the most difficult visit, and he was well aware of that fact. As much as he wanted to find out if Sasha had actually ended up back in London, he knew he was really there to ensure Jacoba was all right when it was all said and done. He somehow hoped that perhaps the reception they would find at the house would be better then he was imagining, although he was extremely doubtful that would be the case.

(Edited) letters between Sasha Schlagenweit and Ferguson Amherst during his stay on the Isle of Skye.

Missing Persons with Sasha Schlagenweit and Ferguson Amherst

Ferguson,

Knight did write me a letter - apparently it was pretty rude and inappropriate. I actually never read it myself; I was, gratefully, spared the need to do so but I was informed of the basic concept. And, of course, if you didn't tell him then the letter isn't your fault. No apology necessary. Whether or not it was one-sided I doubt will make much of a difference to Knight; he is deficient and such subtleties are lost on him. I'm not worried about him. You shouldn't worry about him, either. All that foolishness isn't worth wasting time or energy over.

Who's Your Daddy? by Rita Skeeter

Although she is unaware of the disappearance, Rita Skeeter is still at it, releasing the latest scandal in the life of Sasha Schlagenweit. She has, apparently, discovered the boy's true father... which may or may not become of interest to Kronos Malvivicus, who wants that title as his own.

This fatherless little nipper, who you will recall not so long ago pined to me of his longing for a male figure in his life, now has a father. Yes. It is true. From my research, I can confirm that Sasha Schlagenweit is the illegitimate child of one Nathaniel Grosvenor.

Shocking, I know.

Sasha's girlfriend Neely Woolfolk had attempted to send a letter to him the day after his suspension, but it returned to her three days later undelivered. A week and a half later, however, an owl arrives from Sasha (written on December 2nd) explaining his situation. Little does he know the letters he sends are being heavily edited by Kronos.

Oh Where Oh Where Has My Tall Ravenclaw Gone? with Sasha Schlagenweit and Neely Woolfolk

I'm sorry for not having written sooner to let you know that I'm alright. Not just alright, but doing quite well. My first week of rest has gone by faster than I had been expecting.

It's still hard to believe I've been suspended but I'm starting to recognize that's for the better. Perhaps, it's the best sort of revenge against Madame Snark to enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation on a vacation instead of fretting over homework and deadlines at school. I've had plenty of time to keep up with my magical lessons, though, and am quite pleased with how well my new wand is starting to work for me.

I've also been able to ride every day which, as you know, is wonderful. Other than riding, I'm still keeping indoors, though. The food is lovely, the ambiance is exquisite and I couldn't ask for better.

False Security with Sasha Schlagenweit and Dreogan Eleor

(Edited) letters between Sasha Schlagenweit and Dreogan Eleor during his absence.

Sasha, when I spoke to you about being true to yourself, I'll be honest in saying I hadn't quite anticipated this. There is a difference, I think, between prioritising your needs above others' and completely forgetting others' needs in pursuit of your own wants. I want you to know that I am happy to support you in chasing after your goals, desires, and needs, but please do consider the hurt and pain you've caused others -- particularly your sister. She would do anything for you; we all would.

Spider Web with Sasha Schlagenweit and Kronos Malvivicus

Almost a month after the kidnapping, the scene before us of Sasha Schlagenweit and Kronos Malvivicus bears an eerie resemblance to the Sound of Music -- grinning and frolicking through the Scottish mountainside, we witness what appears to be the bonding of father and son. Sasha almost... doesn't want to leave. And who can blame him, with horseback riding in a Scottish paradise, dolphin-watching, dining out and shopping, and a night on the town to watch Billy Elliot performed live at the West End with his loving confidant?

As he spoke, Sasha was keenly aware of the fact that Kronos was listening. Sasha knew, without a doubt, that the older man was listening with earnest, true interest to what Sasha was saying. Without questioning it, Sasha was soaking in every moment of that attention. A bright, confident smile settled on his features. The enthusiasm with which the man responded to the news about the show in London was the icing on an already delicious cake.

The Words Compute But They Don't Make Sense with Jacoba Schlagenweit and Adon Eleor

Jacoba vents her frustration to Auror Adon Eleor, Dreogan's brother who doubles as occasional 'bodyguard' for the Muggle in Diagon. This, after receiving very strange letters from Sasha that don't seem to quite... add up.

There was no need to pry. As soon as they cleared the door into Diagon, Jacoba shoved the ball of parchment in Adon's hand without missing a beat in her stride. Most of it would prove old news; that letter could have been a copy of the previous few that had found their way to other people, with the occasional detail or pronoun changed. "I don't know whether to be relieved, offended or pissed," she admitted, after giving him a few moments to read it. "I mean, I know I've only seen him that one week and that was the first time in years but I didn't ... the kid I knew growing up would never be that - would be such a self-righteous prick." The last cluster of words had been said with such volume and vehemence, a few random witches and wizards cast startled glances in her direction.

The Festive Streets of Hogsmeade with Sasha Schlagenweit, Kronos Malvivicus, Fauna Blake, and Ferguson Amherst

The time has come for 'father and son' to part ways. Sasha Schlagenweit has been sufficiently hooked. And when they attend the Winter Festival in Hogsmeade together, both dressed rather flamboyantly, they quickly run into friends of Sasha's who are eager to be introduced to his new friend. What follows is an extremely awkward situation.

Even if Fergie hadn't been on the look out for him, Sasha would have been impossible to miss. Not so much because of what he was wearing, although that was striking enough, but because of the man walking along beside him, decked out in sumptuous red dress robes. Fergie would've had to have been blind to miss the bright splash of color amongst the primarily dark winter coats dotting the streets. This must be Sasha's friend, the one he'd been staying with and had spoken of in his last letter. Ferguson surveyed the old man curiously, wondering who, exactly, he was, and where Sasha had possibly met him.

Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot with Terry Katsaros and Dreogan Eleor

Terry Katsaros is keeping watch for Kronos at the Winter festival in Hogsmeade, all too happy to be rid of Sasha Schlagenweit, when he is approached and challenged to an eccentric Greek/Middle Eastern style duel with wronged Wizard Dreogan Eleor.

"Well said," he replied in Hebrew. His eyes were locked on the other man's, ignoring the shadow that was slowly elongating of its own accord behind him. "But it still leaves one to worry. It gets harder to tell what is real in the dark."

It was a spell he had learned years ago in a dark place. Here in the daylight, here on the white shining snow, its uses were limited, but uses there were. Wards protected best against attacks from known sources, and normally, one's shadow was hardly a threat. But as Tiresias closed his hand into a fist, the man's shadow stretched unnaturally thin and rose above him, crashing down over his head with a fury and momentarily plunging vision into darkness.

A Little Driver, So Lively and Quick with Sasha Schlagenweit and Kronos Malvivicus

Although Sasha is no longer being held captive by Kronos Malvivicus, he hasn't yet escaped his clutches. Kronos has been watching him from the shadows, furthering his plans, and tonight has come to the boy's home uninvited -- where Sasha is under house arrest for being outed as a Wizard -- to inquire about his son's well-being.

"You shouldn't be here." He still hadn't moved from the doorway to the tackroom. There was a distinct edge of panic to his voice. Sasha was only vaguely aware that Wobias was still at complete liberty in the barn hall and was still taking full advantage of the loose hay. "I ... really ... please." Now almost pleading, Sasha quickly shook his head. Even without the wizard aspect, there was nothing about this man his stepfather would approve of - from his attire to his clearly ... flamboyant ... demeanor. And, Sasha suspected, tact wasn't one of Kronos' stronger skills. Those two crossing paths would be devastating.
