The Hogwarts Players are a student-run theatrical society at Hogwarts who stage one or two productions a year, sometimes with staff supervision. There is no formal procedure to join or leave the club, so membership is loosely defined.

They are often involved in the May Remembering Day celebrations in Hogsmeade.

Club Rules 2009-2012

In order to excel in the arts, one must learn to express themselves. To completely let go of yourself without fear of being criticized or judged by others is crucial for this. Therefore, Hogwarts Players is an environment that nurtures and respects each individual regardless of background or other personal issues. This will bring others out of their shells and improve their inner confidence to be the best they can be on and off the stage.

It's also tons and tons of fun!

Club Rules

1. Watch your language
2. Be considerate
3. If you don't want to be here, then leave
4. If you're uncomfortable with something, say
5. Have fun, be expressive, don't be afraid to go all out
6. It is crucial that you participate in the production, whether that means acting, singing, being a stagehand, etc. Everyone will be put to use.
7. It is crucial that you come to rehearsal. Seriously. Know your priorities.
