| Summary: | Covadonga Gertrudis led a raid on a breeding house in Knockturn Ally. The self-same house they'd undressed on May 1. What they discovered was a full grown, eight-foot-long female who got very angry when Gertrudis confiscated her eggs. The serpent went mad and escaped in a rage, chasing Gertrudis out of Knockturn. The result was chaos. The panic caused by the rampaging Runespoor damaged businesses and injured at least thirty witches and wizards.
Covadonga Gertrudis was aided by interns Fauna Blake and Nina Morales. Gertrudis sustained another bite to her arm, but was not poisoned. Niobe Thursby got too close in an effort to get a good story and was bitten as well, resulting in the loss of her finger. Aurors on the scene were Aberdeen Spencer and Samuel Harcroft. Graham Bombay and Charlie Robards were also present and sustained minor injuries. | ||
