"There are worse things than meowing,"  Kelvi said quietly.  He'd mostly stayed out of the conversation up till that point.  There wasn't anything to add, Ariadne had covered with the Professor, and Akira had seemed ready to break...or arch her back and hiss at them all.  "Could be purring.  That'd be awkward."

And thankfully the transfiguration had been easily reversed, no trip to the hospital wing. No extended stay.  No itching fur left under her shirt.  "Next time, don't try random spells on yourself,"  he added, since the Professor hadn't.

Akira slumped as she felt the ears disappear, sighing softly she just simply nodded at the professor. "Thank you...." Giving a little smile and turning to Kelvin. "I-i wasn't doing completely random.....just ones with cats really...not like cats are meow, meow meow meow. Meow." She doesn't seem to notice her meowing at all but gives a confident nod as she finished. "I'm not that stupid."

Professor Singh smiled. Students would always experiment. There were dangers. There were advantages too. He had experimented as a Gryffindor. Akira would find other ways to be a cat. Maybe she would learn to be an animagi. When she was older always.
"Is there anything I can help you three with?" Professor Singh asked.

"I-i don't feel like anything else needs doing...thank you..." She said softly and looks up, smiling gently and warmly as she looked at the other two to see if they needed stuff also. She ran a hand through her hair and then shivers as her hand touches where her kitty ears used to be, giving a gentle gasp as she did.
