Physical Description:
Boyish appearance, it’s difficult to tell she is a girl just from her face. She has short, light brown reddish hair that is easily messed up.  Both her eyes are an oak like brown. Her body is also slim and tall giving a slender look to her frame.

Personality Description:
Akira has a friendly nature, when out in public she likes to try and be talkative with other people. She likes to make her own fun and explore to find things hidden around the place, or just lay around and sleep going from one end to the other.
She gets bored rather easily and can be persistent on when someone is hiding something from her. Due to her boredom and trying to find things to she can get rather nosy into what people are doing or push what she's allowed to do.

Has a sweet tooth and can be bribed easily with something to eat. Especially If it is a sweet, her favourite are typically marshmallows and often tries to keep a packet with her at all times. Even if she isn’t allowed to. Usually if she does not have anything sweet for a while she starts being her low energy and bored self, not wanting to do much like a machine powered by sugar.

She loves attending Transfiguration and Potions classes, leading to her often arriving early for the lessons. Compared with classes such as History of Magic and Astronomy where she doesn’t mind them but they are her least favourite lessons. Flying has been her favourite subject altogether despite the many, many times she fell off the broom, most of the time it still barely off the ground. Once in the air however she manages to fly well, hoping she would be able to join the quidditch team when she is better.

Upon learning what an Animagus is she hopes to potentially become one in the future, although she has no clue what type of animal she would want to be or how to achieve it, so for the time being she is doing her best in Transfiguration to learn how to modify the body before attempting such a task.

Where Magical Creatures are concerned she is generally friendly towards them but can get a bit nervous due to the fact she has not grown up with them. Any humanoid or sentient creature such as House Elves, Centaurs, Vampires, Giants and so on she would be happy to talk with and ask about how they work and act, which could lead to her hitting a sore subject when talking to them. This is of course if she does meet one.  She has spoken to a couple of ghosts and has asked quite bluntly how they died and how they arrived at the castle without realizing what she says may be uneasy or not be pleasant for the ghost in question.

History:
Akira comes from a short family line of witches, her grandmother lived in Japan before becoming an orphan and adopted by an English family,she was given a new last name by the adopted family and raised 2 kids. Her grandmother was a Muggle Born leading to Akira's mother becoming a witch at birth. Her mother fought in the Battle of Hogwarts but after seeing what magic could be used for she quit the wizarding world and settled down in the Muggle world.

Raised with an older sister, when their mother found out both of them were magic she did not discourage them from the Wizarding world but still wants no part in it

Akira grew up happily and calmly, while learning some things such as Quidditch and becoming obsessed with it despite not knowing any teams. She also got some sweets and basic lessons from her mother’s friends who taught them in the basics including on creatures. Despite this going to Hogwarts Akira only knows some of the creatures that exist, some sweats and of Quidditch, leaving most of the world a mystery to her.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Akira was chosen for Ravenclaw by the hat due to her lust for knowledge regarding magic and the wizarding world, wanting to learn so much stuff and test herself to see how far she could use her power.

Writing Sample:
Akira swirled her wand in the air. "Accio cherry!" She called out, suddenly a bag of ripened cherries flew at her. "N-no! Stop!" She cried as she ducked, the cherries flying over her head and onto the wall. "Stupid..." She mumbled as she went to pick up the cherries, sighing in relief as she realized they were still intact. "Right, now to put that ontop." She leaned over the table and place the cherry neatly on top of the cake. "Taadaa!" She hops down and gently stares at it before going bright red. "When did you lot get here?" She eeps at the group of people staring at the girl who got too caught up in making a cake.

Akira is a Halfblood witch who was raised in a setting where she found out some things about the magical world but still does not know that much about it. She can be bribed with food most commonly sweets and is still easily amazed by what magic can do.

Background: Akira's Mother went to Diagon Alley for the first time in years, going with Akira to get her second year supplies as although she doesn't like the idea of her children going into the Magical World, she decided  that she may aswell support them and help them along their way. Upon coming to Diagon Alley she split off while Akira was getting some books, only to come back with a Owl in a cage and a warm hug, telling Akira to write often and Akira agreeing with a joke about relief packages to give her some stuff of home.

Although the two haven't been on the best of terms, with Kūki being a bit of a pain for Akira to look after, the two have been getting on well enough. Kūki does as told and has been tested carrying letters over shorter distances (To her mothers friends so that she can get some wizard sweets in secret) Akira seems confident she will carry letters to and from Hogwarts and not decide that it would be better to eat Akira's hand when she tries retrieving them.
