Assuming Jason's appearance, Marc takes advantage of a recent Dragon Pox scare at Hogwarts to forge papers requesting Lucy Matthews be taken in for observation at St. Mungo's because of a rare disease. Lucy is escorted out by Professor Jowd, unwittingly playing into Marc's plans.

I'm writing you from the Gryffindor common room. I have so many friends here. My professors love me. Especially professor Storm. Everything has really fallen into place here.
