Loyd's Labyrinth

From Absit Omen Lexicon

Loyd's Labyrinth is in reference to many schemes and machinations spawned by the famous magical puzzle-maker Samuel Loyd.

He's known to be the prince of folded maps more complicated and puzzling than the infamous Marauder's Map Hplink.png, baffling chess strategies, and simple multi-layered crossword puzzles, and so Loyd's Labyrinth could reference any of these devices or strategies.

The most legendary, of course, is that it actually came from a rumor that Samuel Loyd built one of the most complicated and baffling mazes of all time, where many people hid their treasures or unspeakable secrets, only to disappear with them. However their is no proof to back up such a claim, so it's merely believed the term came about as a joke or playful jest.
