Frolich Institute of Wizarding Medicine

In Smolen (Småland), Sweden the Frolich Institue has specialist healers.

Jan Friedson, father of Freya Jansdotter was bitten by a werewolf and sent there to be treated. Freya's mother, Patricia Woodbridge was serving an internship as healer in Venoms and Toxicology at the time.

Werewolves are confined at the Frolich Institute each full moon. In approximately 1997 Jan Friedson broke loose during a full moon and was fatally injured. The Institute admitted fault and paid compensation.

Elixa Mordent studied to be a healer between 1995 and 1999 at the Institute, but didn't pass her final exams and left without completing. Her parents James Mordent and Violetta Mordent nee Duerr are still healers there specialising in the treatment of werewolves. Elixa joined them for some years.
