Eris Liddleton comes from a traditionally pureblood family in Britain. They are an old money family that typically work in law and business investments. She is cousins to Celeste Liddleton (Greg and Molly King's mother).
Eris Liddleton is currently an attorney that worked for the Department of International Magical Cooperation in America for most of her career. She met Étienne Descôteaux in America, married and they had a child, Colette.
During her years of work in America, her alliances to the British Ministry changed. She never saw herself coming back to the United Kingdom. Prior to the work on the top secret weapon coming out publicly, Eris moved the family back to London and told her husband that she wanted to live closer to her family. In reality, Eris came back to Britain to provide insider information to CAWW.
At work she is nondescript, mousey and typically invisible if not for her love of the gaudy jewelry. A bit of a wallpaper who doesn't express her opinions about many things, but she is known for her work ethic. She's deeply unhappy in her marriage and plays away.
