Assuming Jason's appearance, Marc takes advantage of a recent Dragon Pox scare at Hogwarts to forge papers requesting Lucy Matthews be taken in for observation at St. Mungo's because of a rare disease. Lucy is escorted out by Professor Jowd, unwittingly playing into Marc's plans.

I'm writing you from the Gryffindor common room. I have so many friends here. My professors love me. Especially professor Storm. Everything has really fallen into place here. Professor Storm has been giving almost everyone detentions. Not me, however, as I have become his favorite student.Lucy Matthews
