Anastasia is very well spoken and well mannered. She doesn't care for excessive amounts of small talk, but will engage in it when the situation calls for it. She prefers more stimulating conversations with others, always enjoying a good debate of ideas and beliefs. Although she can sometimes have a bit of a stubborn streak, Anastasia knows when to bite her tongue, especially when attending a function or engaging with people for the first time. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Anastasia can often be found reading, or quietly listening and observing conversations being had, soaking up any information she can.
Appearance
Anastasia is effortlessly elegant in the way she moves. Standing at 5”6 and 130 lbs, she almost floats through a space as she navigates it with impeccable posture, never slumping or hunched. She is always polished and well dressed when she leaves her home to a degree some might consider to be flawless while remaining understated, highlighting the natural beauty of her porcelain skin, green eyes, and thick blackish brown hair that never seems unruly or unkept.

History
The Dupont family has always been wealthy, their roots stretching far back to French Wizarding Nobility, the family’s foundation built firmly on what some would call “old money”. Seeing lucrative opportunities in London, part of the family relocated, almost immediately carving out their paths to the upper echelon of society as doctors, lawyers, high ranking Ministry officials, aurors and more. As time went on, the Dupont name was firmly cemented in pureblood social circles as the family to emulate, their status and wealth something others desperately tried to obtain. The name even held weight in the working class, those employed as maids, cooks, or butlers flaunting it to the their friends and family as it was the most coveted household to work under, the Duponts always paying a fair wage to those they hired, as well as treating them with the utmost kindness and respect, the same courtesy continuing on to any House Elves that wished to remain on staff after being freed.
Rarely does any prominent pureblood family, or wizarding establishment, host a party or function without extending an invitation to the Duponts, society deeming it a major faux pas should they not be included considering the community holds them in such high esteem. Despite their luxurious wealth, their reputation has never been tarnished by a sense of greed or haughtiness, each member displaying the never ending well mannered disposition the family has always been known for.
Anastasia’s childhood was a typical textbook upbringing of a high society pureblood princess. Her and her older sister, Adelaide, wanted for nothing, their parents showered them with everything they ever desired (within reason) and went above and beyond to set their girls up for success. Under the watchful eye of their nannies the Dupont girls were chauffeured through their numerous activities, french lessons, early magic lessons, horseback riding, etiquette training, everything a little girl needed to be molded into the practically perfect image of poise and beauty the Dupont women were known to be.
Anastasia blew through her school years with flying colors, with her thirst for learning, she excelled in almost every class. Even though she was still young, Annie maintained the high standards expected of someone from the Dupont family and still managed to attend all functions, dances, and events held at school or by fellow pureblood classmates. With her easy nature, keen mind and sharp wit, Annie was quickly encircled in what was deemed the popular crowd at school, although she didn’t think herself above those outside her circle of friends. During her time at Beauxbatons, Annie also made her debut to society at several wizarding debutante balls, and while she thought the concept of young girls parading around in gowns, all to hopefully attract a suitor, was a bit barbaric and old fashioned, she glided along the floor nonetheless to please her mother and father, Eleanor and Clarence.
After graduating from Beauxbatons, despite her mother’s differing opinions, Annie immediately enrolled in an internship program with The Ministry’s Improper Use of Magic Office. Thankfully the bad taste the decision had put in Eleanor’s mouth was quickly erased as she put her entire focus on Adelaide, ensuring her eldest daughter was navigating the marriage market as quickly and successfully as possible. Adelaide married her husband, a charming, but tragically boring looking, pureblood with a personality that matched his appearance, and a bank account that nearly matched the Dupont’s. Watching her sister marry a man she most certainly tolerated, but did not love, made Annie dead set against going through the same song and dance, especially if she was not in love.
Despite her mother’s loudly voiced concern that her youngest child would end up an old maid, Anastasia climbed through the ranks, eventually securing a position as an Administrative Coordinator for the Improper Use of Magic Office. While she was more than happy to continue meeting the standards expected of her as a Dupont, she didn’t want to sit at home, passing the time listening to her mother try to find her a respectable suitor. Considering the amount of money she had already, Anastasia didn’t need to work by any means, but found life far more fulfilling knowing she was doing something she deemed far more worthy of her time than practicing her cross-stitch charms. As of now, Annie still lives an incredibly comfortable life. Once her work day is over, if she’s not needing to attend a function or event, there’s nothing she enjoys more than returning home to her home in Moonstone Mews (complete with handsomely paid house elf, Feta, who cooks and cleans), listening to some classical music, and curling up with a new book with Tootsie, her hyacinth macaw, on her shoulder.
Annie spends most of her work day communicating and collaborating between the various departments within The Ministry in order to accomplish certain tasks pertaining to a case that involves the misuse of magic. She is constantly keeping an eye on the news, both magical and muggle, in order to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. While making sure there are people in office available to take cases, Annie occasionally gets called out onsite as well to investigate a situation and will call Obliviators, Aurors, or Magical Law Enforcement Patrol if needed.
