Allura watched as the charm turned on, and then his attempt to shout to prove to her that it was silenced, it did help her to relax considering her situation, she curled herself up once more protectively, atleast for herself.

She couldn't tell him, it would just make her more of a target...and make him a target also would it not? What if he didn't believe her? After all it would be hard to believe someone would do it, she struggled with understanding it though she wasn't sure if it was just due to her mind being ruined by the spells.

"I've been...under the effects of potions that'd make me suggestible, or the imperious curse for the past...year? Two? I don't know..." She said softly, barely audible but she somewhat hoped it would help him.

"I don't know...what it could do to me...the only times I've been aware is inbetween some shows and tours, otherwise I've only been half aware at most, but even then I've been disassociated like everything wasn't real..."

Samuel's eyes widened, thankfully away from view as Allura was curled up in a ball. Imperious curse? A suggestible potion for the past year or two? This was beyond his skill level in terms of treatment, and he would need to consult with another Healer with more experience on the matter. At least he could report this was happening!

Still, a courageous second-wind stilled him from making any sudden movements. He listened stoically, taking her words in with a sensitivity and compassion. This was a serious accusation that one could not take lightly.

Samuel nervously moved his large brown glasses up and down, itching under his nose. "Would you like the door to remain open, or closed?" He asked before sitting on the chair near her. "I have a few clarifying questions I would like to ask, if that's okay." He asked gently. Samuel had no idea where this confidence was coming from, but he didn't question it. He opened his shoulders up, tilted his body towards and and looked in her direction. His eyes were diverted from her own, knowing that she was scared.

There as a reason they did mock-trainings. He was so glad for his muscle memory.

His demeanor changed, it freaked her out a little, she didn't quite like it as he suddenly treated her differently, why was he suddenly treating her so differently? Had she said something wrong or was it just his reaction to it?

Was it...that bad? It really was...wasn't it...

"Closed please." She said quietly and looked slowly towards him. "W-what are the followups?" She slowly shifted herself to look up towards him a little bit better and not to be as obscured, he wasn't immediately making any moves towards her, nothing hostile...maybe he was on her side? Perhaps?

Samuel went to close the door to the examination room as Allura preferred. He put his wand down on the desk that sat against the wall near the door. It was out of reach, and if she had her own wand she could cast his aside. Through his training, he learned that when interviewing individuals who experienced something very difficult it was important to establish their safety. He didn't want Allura to believe he had any negative intentions.

Sitting next to her, he took the notepad and quill, dipping it into the inkwell. The parchment filled with a survey of questions that were required for investigations of this nature. "I'm going to ask some questions to gather information about the incidents. At any time that you're uncomfortable or do not want to answer, you can ask me to pass. After we've done this, I'll review symptoms that you may have experienced under the imperious curse. Then I will communicate with one of the heads of the department to complete the final diagnostic. At any point, you are allowed to ask me to stop the process, and I will." There was a tenseness in his voice as he described the steps to come. The protocol could feel cold, but her allegation was serious. If this really did happen, he wasn't sure if Auror intervention would be necessary. He thought it may.

He was getting serious and tense, he was taking it seriously right? That's what it was, he believed her, she was relieved...or maybe it was all testing to see if she was telling the truth or was lying about it all? She hoped he did believe her.

She nodded gently however, understanding the situation, she didn't like the idea of others knowing, could he not help her? Did they really need to involve others? If it couldn't be helped she understood but would prefer if they could hold away from it.

"Okay...I understand...what is the first question?" She asked quietly as she slowly unfurled herself, letting herself be a bit more open and as it was comfier for herself, though she kept her arms inside of her hoodie for warmth and with the comfort.

He looked at the notepad and quill, and spoke: "Write: Allura Bythesea. Came in for imperious curse or potions that make her suggestible." The quill dipped itself in the inkwell next to him and wrote her name in neat cursive handwriting, and the reason for her visit. It was working.

He looked up from the quill and notepad and spoke evenly, "Stop." The quill floated back into the inkwell. "I'm going to ask you to speak clearly as I ask questions. The quill will take direct quotes. These notes will not be released to anyone but yourself, and whomever else you're comfortable with. Since you've told us about this concern, we'll put an alert on your file that you'll have to be at the hospital and provide your signature for medical records to be released with a healer overseeing the signature." He assured Allura of the hospital policy so she knew how serious they were being.

Giving her a moment, he spoke, "I know you described the symptoms already, but I will ask you again now. Write: What symptoms from the suggestible potions have you experienced in the past year or two?" He looked in Allura's direction, but didn't make eye contact with her.

Allura watched him prepare himself, eyeing him over as she waited for him to be finished, fiddling with the pen he was working through before it was ready and he'd tested it, then came the next part and...honestly rude.

She had been speaking clearly, atleast to herself anyway, it wasn't her fault he wasn't able to understand her mumbling into her legs was it? But fine, she gave a gentle sigh and moved to sit herself up in a more prim and proper way, like a lady in a business suit and skirt waiting for an interview, hands on lap and body upright...

She felt exposed, she didn't like it, but it helped and, looked more professional did it not?

"At...at this point I don't even know what to look out for, so much of the past few years have been me in a dream like state. not having much control over myself, automatically doing anything I was told like I was watching through glass as I was submerged in water." She said clearer but somewhat distant as she tried to speak of her experiences, her eyes almost glazing over as she spoke.

Sam's quill summarized, "Dream like state the past several years, no control over body, automatically doing what I was told -- used metaphor of "watching through glass as I was submerged in water." He thought a moment, "Could you describe the sensation that you felt in your body as it was being controlled?"  Was it more like being jailed in her mind as her body moved on it's own?

Or were their periods where she had large gaps of memory? Did she ever find herself in places she couldn't recognize? Feeling like she did things she didn't agree to?

He supposed if both, it would mean that the spell and potion were used. He'd heard of muggle substances that could also have a similar effect, though there was a distinct sickness from using that. It wasn't as effective as it's magical counterpart.

Allura thought on the question, she wasn't entirely sure how to describe anything that happened to her, just that she knew she wasn't in control at all, none of the things she did she had wanted to do they just...happened...

"I...I don't know. Like my body was light? Weightless and just...did things, if I tried hard enough I could move them away but I'd still just...do things." She didn't know how else to describe the experience or what it felt like, she hardly remembered most of the parts she was awake for at the moment...maybe this was all a dream also?

"Am I...still under it? Am I just believing I'm in control but really its all...did I die and...should I be dead?" She wondered for a moment if there was an escape, maybe she was so deep the only escape was...she shook her head.

"F-forget about that...sorry."

Sam wasn't sure what the longterm effects of the imperious curse were, and it was rare to encounter a spellcaster ballsy enough to use the illegal spell on someone. The unforgivable curse that took away a person's autonomy! Under his calm exterior he felt livid at the thought that someone would really do this to another. It was an injustice.

He listened to her description and his quill took note of it. The content took a dark turn quickly; he supposed that it made sense. Life couldn't have been enjoyable when you were deprived of choice. He kept his distance, but leaned his body forward, "No. I don't think so. You would be able to describe the effects of the spell if you were." His face perked up, a warmness in his eyes, "You didn't die." There was a pause, "You're very much alive."

Alive? What did it mean to live?

He buried the question under. Now was not the time to ponder the meaning of life. "Could you tell me more about what it was like in your mind?" How much could she recall? He wanted to know if her memories were intact. She'd described herself in a state of a dream, but one could still extract memory from dreams. Could she?

He didn't want to lead her, so his question was open-ended.

He attempted to reassure her that she was there, that this wasn't the spell still affecting her, but how would either of them know? Perhaps she could recall the effects of the spell because of the fact she was still under it? He said it was cause she wasn't under it that she could but surely the effects could still be on her and allow her to talk about it if she was commanded?

Slowly she moved herself back into her protective ball, she needed safety, to be protected, was there anything that could protect her though? She wasn't sure there was anything left to even protect anymore...

"I-i don't know...isn't this the same question? I...i have glimpses but whenever I try to remember too much it just slips...i..." She shook her head once more as she held her head in her hands.

"I...i don't think I want to recall some of the things...that happened." She said quietly, tears welling in her eyes before she buried her head again into her protective ball, she knew it was pointless, there wasn't anything left to protect. "I...i..."

After a moment she raised her head. "T-this was a mistake...I-i shouldn't be here...I-i'm sorry for wasting your time..." She shakily stood herself up, unsure what to do or if she should leave but...what could they do to help her? Though she made no movements towards the door as of yet.

Samuel realized that he wasn't helping much, but something was clear to him -- St. Mungos could help if Allura was willing to trust the institution. Her description aligned with the spell, but the gaps of memory didn't, the confusion she seemed to still experience despite it wearing off. He wondered if there was more permanent damage, but a further evaluation would have to be done.

Sam noticed that Allura began curling into herself again, and he was glad he'd provided her the blankets to make it easier to hide under, if she needed it. "That's okay...I'm sorry for causing you to feel uncomfortable." He waved his hands. Maybe he was getting a bit star struck and tongue tied. He didn't know, "You're not wasting anyone's time, though. I can tell you that much."

He took a deep breath in, "Would you be willing to stay long enough for a psychological evaluation? What you experienced is serious, and I want you to know that you're believed." He thought that perhaps he was overzealous in his correction, but he hoped she would stay. The crime she experienced, it's chronic nature, was serious.

Allura hugged herself as she stood and watched him, was he telling the truth? Would they really believe her? She didn't think anyone would, why would they after all? Its ridiculous to believe any of this...and the holes in her memories were...

"W-would I...be safe though? What if they get here and come for me..." She said gently, hugging herself tighter as her mind raced at what could happen to her if they got her back once more, if she'd have any life or will again if they got her...could St Mungo's really protect her from such a thing, they'd do anything to get her back she was sure, she made enough money to justify it..

She gave a groan of frustration and sat herself down once more, pressing her elbows into her knees and her head into her hands, before giving a gentle nod.

"Alright...I-i'll stay but..under another name, please...It won't keep them away but might hide me a little?" She looked towards him. Part of her hoped she was going to get the help she needed but another part of her...knew that it was pointless, she'd just be grabbed back once more.

"Thank you...for trying to help me." She said softly before she folded her arms over her chest and relaxed into the seating.

He couldn't promise things, "We still have magical laws that protect people from their abuser, even if it's a corporation." Samuel answered. He wasn't sure of the exact laws, but he knew that they existed and the crimes that she alleged happened to her were very serious. It made him wonder about the ethics of being a fan, if he was just perpetuating the system? She'd have to make a statement to an Auror though.

"Okay, we can do that." He stated, matter-the-factly. "Of course, it's why we're here." He took his healer's vows seriously and only wanted to help Allura, even if he was stumbling over himself and his words. "We'll give you an anonymous identity, let's get started on that assessment if you're ready...."
