Mid Morning   -   Outfit

It was a bright sunny day and, despite the cool weather, Cyhirae was determined to take advantage of it while it lasted. Forgoing the library, both she and Serenity were sprawled out in a secluded nook near the castles entrance studying and working on homework together in between chattering about the new school year and the tournament.

Laying on her stomach Cyhirae bit the end of her pen in thought as she looked over her History essay, trying to eyeball it to see if her essay was long enough. Deciding she had enough Cyhirae rolled over into a sitting position and stretched her back out. "Finally. I'm done with that stupid essay." Cyhirae rolled up the parchment and shoved it in her backpack with a little more force than necessarily. "How about you Seri?"

Cyhirae leaned back against the stone wall of the castle and stared out at the castle grounds. "I think I'm done with studying for a while," she commented idly. "Want to just go for a walk?"

The day was young and the weather was terrific! Serenity was laying on her front reading over the text in the book yet again. It didn't make sense to her. She tickled her cheek with the feather of her quill to try to jump-start her brain. It didn't work. They had been at this studying thing for ages it seemed and with Cy's help, Serenity managed to complete two essays. This one for History of Magic, however, was proving to be difficult. Maybe it was the atmosphere that was making it hard for the little Ravenclaw to concentrate or the exciting conversation they'd been having about the tournament and champions.

"Finally. I'm done with that stupid essay. How about you Seri?"

The second year pouted in frustration. "I'm not even close..."

"I think I'm done with studying for a while. Want to just go for a walk?"

"That sounds better than sitting here trying to reread the same sentence," she tried to smile, but her mood was overwhelmed by her irritation.

Serenity Lee felt she needed a break from studying before she ripped up what little quarter-of-an-inch she had on her essay and gathered her things, threw them into her bag with a furious muttering, and stood up. Hopefully, the exercise would relieve her stress and with Cyhirae by her side, it was unlikely that she could stay in a foul mood for long.

"Do we have a destination or are we following our feet?"

Following her feet was her usual thing and it often lead to adventure. Adventure would definitely take her mind off the infuriating essay.

"That sounds better than sitting here trying to reread the same sentence"

Cyhirae could feel Serenity's frustration behind her smile. After  Serenity ripped up her essay Cy leaned over and patted her on her shoulder, "If you want I can help you afterwards Seri. It shouldn't be too hard with the both of us."

"Do we have a destination or are we following our feet?"

"I don't really have one in particular," she shrugged. "I just want to do something other than study and write right now." Cyhirae shouldered  her bag, "We could take a walk around the lake or the school or maybe even at the edge of the grounds near the forbidden forest." She looked over at Serenity with an eager grin, "What do you think?"
