Wormwood
Wormwood (or Wormwood House) is a terraced townhouse on Knockturn Alley, once abandoned and now the residence of Fionn Kerrigan. Its facade is of dark brick and ornate window frames of Victorian style.
Inside, however, Wormwood is a mishmash of styles - the result of renovations by previous inhabitants. It is decorated in shades of green and brown, and filled with all manner of plants.
Interior
Upon entering Wormwood, you are greeted by a black-white floor tiling and dark green wallpaper. A carpeted stairs leads up, while a door underneath it will take you down to the cellar.
Mushrooms and other forms of fungi, legal or illegal, are grown in the cellar alongside the odd wine cabinet.
Kitchen, dining room, WC, master bedroom and a tiny parlour can be found on the ground floor. Fionn's taste in furniture is reflected in everything he has accumulated over the years: one or two antique pieces but mostly comfortable, sturdy things of dark wood.
Above the ground floor are two guest rooms, a bathroom and ample storage space.
Wormwood's top floor has the most plants. Here you will find Fionn's rustic study, in which you will also find a bath tub and busy bookshelves. Slanted skylights allow a great deal of light in these spaces.
History
Wormwood was one of the many properties in Ira Almasy's portfolio and was inherited by her cousin Raine Almasy. After retrospective investigations into Ira's criminal activities concluded, the house was sold to its current owner in 2017.
