Divination is an Elective course that students can choose to begin taking upon reaching their Third Year at [[Hogwarts]]. It teaches students to divine the future via a variety of means - dreams, tea leaves crystal balls, and so on. Many do not take the subject seriously, though it has time and again been shown to be accurate in the right hands.  
Care of Magical Creatures is an Elective course that students can choose to begin taking upon reaching their Third Year at [[Hogwarts]]. Mostly taught outdoors, it teaches students how to interact with, harvest, raise, or otherwise protect themselves from magical creatures. More exotic animals (Thestrals, Dragons, and so on) appear at the choice of the professor, and usually only for older students.  
 
It is the also one of the highest risk jobs of the professor's positions; CoMC professors can often be identified via their missing limbs, it's said.

The Divination classroom is tucked away, sharing the same tower as the [[Astronomy]] classroom. Accessed via a short ladder, it has several tables and chairs arranged in tiers around a central podium. It can be decorated rather wildly; the classroom under the Seer Trewlawney was covered in rather tacky red curtains.  
CoMC is usually taught outdoors, but a rather generic indoor classroom exists for use during bad weather or when a more workshop environment is called for.
