Paxton Puddifoot was the brother of Madam Puddifoot 
and the father of Pandora Puddifoot. Dreadful at magic, Paxton dropped out of Hogwarts after his OWLs, snapped his wand in two, and went to live among the muggle community. In 1983 he fell madly in love with a muggle named Elisabeth Bristol and shortly thereafter, Dora was born.
The three were a happy family, but Paxton had not told his mistress of his (and their daughter's) magical abilities. When Elisabeth found out about his lies she left and Paxton moved back home to Hogsmeade with his young child.
Paxton fought and died in the Battle of Hogwarts.
