Kuliah Subi

Kuliah Subi accepts and teaches students from anywhere in South East Asia. However a majority of their pupils are from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore. It is not mandatory for the wizarding children of Malaysia and Singapore to attend Subi but most families do send their children here. Some may choose to school their children in smaller community schools.

Location

Nobody knows the exact location of the school. It is said to resemble a sprawling natural city in the middle of the Borneo rainforest, with a high level of integration with nature.

Studies

Pupils enroll between the ages of seven and ten. They graduate between the ages of fifteen and eighteen.

Older pupils of Subi attend school on an island in the Riau Archipelago (between east and west Malaysia) for their final two years. This is where they may choose to learn sailing, study marine beasts or other specialty magics. A majority of pupils prefer to graduate early instead.

Extracurricular

Subi does not have “houses” like British schools. Instead, they have “clubs” which students join in order to participate in interclub competitions. Students are allowed to change clubs but it is discouraged and considered an indication of a disloyal personality. Clubs no longer take effect in the final two years at Subi.
