If yes, please explain. So far, Melanthe has only committed criminal acts that have in some way been a means of personal vindication for her father's death. Usually this has been by way of killing, defeating or ruining the individuals who she believes were involved in her father's downfall. She readily admits that she doesn't know the full circumstances surrounding his death, but she has shown little care for being thorough in determining a connection. Usually all it has taken is an implied one to spurn her into action.
What crimes might you commit in the future? Discuss all possible: Melanthe has made it her personal mission to track down anyone and everyone who was responsible for or connected to the death of her father. Now that it seems as though she has accomplished this, she appears to be lacking a driving malicious force. Her future crimes will likely depend on the activities of those she interacts with in the future.
Are you currently under pursuit by the Ministry of Magic?: No.
Wand Description: 9 1/2" African Blackwood, Runespoor Fang core. This is her father's wand which was thought to have been destroyed upon his death, but eventually her mother revealed that it was still very much intact and that it was in the possession of one of her father's enemies. In her travels, she was able to track him down and defeated him, thus taking control of the wand. Prior to that, her wand throughout her schooling was one very similar to her cousin Maeve's (Ollivander Wand of 1o" Blackthorne, Dragon Heartstring Core with a decorated shaft). She prefers her father's wand because she feels it is more powerful.

Eyes: Brown
Complexion: Medium Olive
Piercings: She has her ears pierced several times

Melanthe has inherited her father's height and distinctive bone structure and her mother's naturally voluptuous, fleshy figure. She is tall, with legs that seem to go on for days but very curvy in all the right places, with plenty in the preferred areas that tend to get attention from the opposite sex--bust, hips and bum. She has no shame in catering her wardrobe to show these parts off and is quite fond of outfits that cling to her figure, a fact that has caused her more proper and conservative mother and even her younger brother many a headache.
Alone, some of her facial features (high cheekbones, angular jaw, full lips and a distinct nose) might be deemed highly unattractive. But together they are a pleasing combination and make her uniquely beautiful. These features can look soft, innocent and sweet, but with a simple change in expression--an arch of a brow, clenching of her jaw or a twist of her lips--and her look instantly becomes darker and more devious. Her face is framed by a bevy of chocolate brown hair which is a compliment to her equally brown eyes.
Personality Description: Melanthe is content in upholding the standard characteristics of a femme fatale and has no scrupals about using her feminine wiles to get what she wants, even though in the grand scheme of necessities, she truly wants for nothing. She has everything she could possibly need (or the means to get it) but it's hard to say if that would excite her or make her happy. Thus, it is her boredom, moreso than a desire to "rule the world", that often entices her wickedness to come out and play.
She is ambitious and assertive in promoting herself, although she is able to hide the fact for social reasons. That said, for the most part, she is considered very good company, friendly, good-natured, and a wonderful conversationalist. She is every bit the socialite who genuinely likes spending time in the company of others. She is known to have an endless supply of energy when partying and usually she is the first one on the dance floor or to start a round of drinks and the last one to leave (even if she's the only one there).
To strangers, she can appear aloof and detached, with a biting wit and scathing sarcasm as a ready compliment for it. But it is worth noting that she has not made herself completely unavailable to those she encounters. When she is happy, her charming smile has the ability to warm anyone's heart and she in turn craves the attention from others but cross her and her wrath will be unleashed with the fury of a woman scorned. In this regard, she is one to hold grudges (as evidenced by her quest to avenge her father's death)and she's not above using underhanded tactics to pay someone back. She is also not above doing things such as manipulating others around her simply for her own amusement.
For someone who is charged by individualistic desires, a demand for independence, and the lesser need for personal attainment, she can also be intensely passionate about anything connected to what is most important in her life--her family and friends.
History:The marriage of Orfeo Grumman to Annie Ayre was seen to be an advantageous union of two pureblood families, but the motives for it went beyond maintaining blood purity. The Grummans, hailing from the blustery depths of Siberia, were long suspected to be devoted followers of Voldemort, and Orfeo, his sister and his cousins were all graduates of Durmstrang and proficient students of the Dark Arts. In fact, it's widely believed that Orfeo and his close cousin, Caspero, were Death Eaters. Marrying into families with respectable pureblood ties in the wizarding world was key for Orfeo's parents in "covering their tracks" and they were quite lucky to find the Ayres, a family that held tightly to their traditions and the ideals of blood purity.
Orfeo and Annie eventually would settle in Russia where they had two children, Melanthe and Arturo. Melanthe's parents rarely speak of their life prior to her birth, something that she believes is a result of a potential connection to the first War. The family as a whole frequently visited their extended ties in the United Kingdom on both sides. Orfeo's sister, Eloise, had married into the Whitman family from Wales and Annie's family who also lived in the UK.
With Voldemort's return in 1995, the mood in the homes of Orfeo and Caspero became darker and Melanthe, her brother and her cousins saw their fathers less often in the years that followed but because of their age, weren't really privy to why. Of course, in 1997, Melanthe began Durmstrang, and that also provided a distraction for noticing. Unfortunately, Orfeo was killed in 1998 (the exact nature of his death is not clear) and though Melanthe and her brother continued to attend Durmstrang, Annie began to spend more time in London. She would move there permanently when Melanthe finished school, with her brother following soon after. To please his mother, Arturo took up an obscure job in London with the Ministry, but Melanthe took up traveling the globe and meeting new people with whom to socialize.
Her socialite/world traveler persona was a means of covering up her real MO--which was seeking out those responsible for her father's death and making sure they paid dearly for it. After she managed to do so (or so she thought), she turned her attention to truly enjoying the traveling and socializing. Lately, she has been canoodling with groups of people who were not entirely squeaky clean by some standards.
Melanthe has never minded that as her primary concern is that they are pure and like to have fun as she does.
Sum up your character in one paragraph:Melanthe means "dark flower" and she embodies that description in her look, personality and overall demeanor. Whereas her cousin Maeve is consumed with the idea of the Dark Arts, Melanthe is content to let it be whatever it will be, to manifest itself on its own.
