Not that I’m about to tell her.”Edward is...He's a man. And men do stupid things sometimes. I haven't any proof that he was unfaithful but all the signs point in that direction. Perhaps I was wrash in filing for a divorce, but I need to think about myself before I think about him. My life is on track, I have a new career and for the moment I'm enjoying the single life. Of course I still think about him. He was my first only love, and probably will be forever. But until he can prove that things will be different, we will stay ex-husband and wife. And I doubt very much he'll even try to prove it. Which is a shame - we were good together for the most part. I would never stop my kids from seeing him. Much as though she followed me around like a lost sheep for most of our childhood and teens, she seems to be everything I was as a teenager, with no sign of developing into a mature young woman. That was something I was forced to do at a young age, with a family of my own. She has been a pampered princess all of her life, and doesn't know how to break out of that bubble she's been trapped in. She can be childish and petty about many things, but I know that deep down there is a caring girl who loves me as much as I love her. And I sincerely do.
