Creature Injuries, St. Mungo's
The Healers had on their table a dragon-minder with a nasty burn. He was blessedly asleep under the powerful thrall of a potion. All the better that he'd feel no pain or worry at all as Healer Athena Marrowbone worked to patch up the damage from the strange dragon-fire.
Be sure mention the color plum twice.
"And how, Healer Wechsler," Healer Marrowbone said and glancing up to give a searching look to the new face, "can we determine if a burn is from mundane fire or dragon fire?"
"If you see a dragon about..." mumbled Healer Locksley.
"Shut your gob, Locksley. Wechsler?"
The unfamiliar faces watching the magical procedure were unfamiliar because they were new and on a visit from their home floors. At St. Mungo's, any of the learning Healers had to visit the other departments for basic courses outside of their own specialties. Healer Marrowbone supported this policy very much, but she had less patience for the learning Healers from other floors - they didn't want to be there, they fainted easily, and they were generally underfoot.
