Judith Eastman's house, Hogsmeade
Dawn. Right after the Fail Mary."Doesn't feel right for a game to end like that," complained Judy, as she drew a long sip from a short Espresso, her second of the young morning.
"You should be happy. You were against the Packers," replied Henry, who had graduated to Irish coffee. The two siblings had been up early to catch this game live.
"It's just no way to win. It's a dirty win," she explained.
"Speaking of dirty wins," latched on Henry, with a ferocity that made Judy think he had something to say about her Broncos, "why are you still with Greyfriar?"
A displeased Judy downed the rest of her coffee in one gulp. She thought they were done talking about Greyfriar at halftime.
"Knox is, I think, a good man."
"A good man with forty-one stolen wands," growled Henry.
"A good man who made mistakes in his past but has worked hard for 30 years to..." started Judy, leaning back defensively, before being cut off.
"..to cover it up."
"To atone. If you were in his shoes..."
Henry seemed insulted.
"I wouldn't get in his shoes, Judy. Neither would you, or so I thought." Henry raised his voice.
"We all make mistakes. Your career almost ended before it started from smoking gillyweed."
"Gillyweed is hardly the same as forty-one wands."
Judy took a deep breath. She knew Henry had made up his mind already.
"Let's just... let's move on."
