Dear Father,

I implore you to listen to the wireless at the setting at the top of my letter. Someone is impersonating the magazine and claiming to broadcast a Witch Weekly wireless program. Only they like to play whale song and some old programs about knitting. What's worse is that I did not chance upon it myself. Hufflepuff have listened to it several times in their common room. I suspect one of them knows more.

If you do not hear it tonight then try another night.

Gen,

Someone has found the Witch Weekly Wireless recordings from the 80s or before and is playing them on an evening. Meredith tells me the Hogwarts students tune in. Must be for some sort of retro fashion than interest. They are not the sort to knit and pearl on an evening.

Please investigate and nip it in the bud before our readers hear it. Unless it is actually popular then make it official.

Shockingly, this isn’t news to me. It’s not dragon crap, but it’s not Witch Weekly standard, either. The voice of inexperience leads it and, well, the content is aged. They’ve even dared take a political stance!

It’s got potential and has given me ideas.

BUT, I need to first string up the precocious idiot that dared air without my permission. How good are you at investigating a little mystery, dearest Aubrey? Do you yearn to be the Watson to my Holmes? The Isles to my Rizzoli? The Jones to my Johnson?
