This is a mock Bio of Raine Almasy's late twin sister, Sanya, who was murdered by Arthur Lemon at 15 years old. She is not an actual character played by a writer on Absit Omen.

S a n y a A i n s l e y I v a n o v n a A l m a s y Character Birthday & Age: 27th December 1993, 15 years old
City & Country of Birth: Woodstock, Oxfordshire. England
Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Halfblood
Wand: 9'' Hawthorn with Unicorn Tail Hair core. Supple with floret engraved hilt.
Physical Description: Sanya Almasy, at 5'2'' and with no signs of growing any further, is a tiny young lady. Everything about the way she carries herself to the curved, relenting attitude of her stance indicates a flexible demeanor. She never walks in the centre of a corridor and it's difficult to notice her in a room - unless, of course, accompanied by her much more severe half. Sanya is marginally more willing to be the centre of attention when she is around Raine.
Her wild red hair is tamed, daily, and straightened. Sometimes she wears it wild and in a braid - typically whenever the twin sisters incline towards the mischief implicit in that rare gift of identicalness. Not a complimentary whole but a matching pair. The girls may be indistinguishable when they choose although this tends to involve a hair-growing potion or two whenever Sanya chops off her locks (guaranteed at least twice a year).
Her dress sense is serene and comfortable: silken tops in wan colours, flowery prints, jeans in every colour of the rainbow (and then some), flowing skirts, witty t-shirts. A hippy at heart. Sanya and Raine only meet in terms of dress on two points: their Hogwarts uniforms and a common adoration of intricately knit frocks. They are otherwise easy to tell apart outside of school.
Personality Description: Moreso than her sister... well, moreso than
most people, Sanya Almasy is willing to let things slide. Her outward views on the serious issues of wizarding society are flippant at best. Only her closest friends acknowledge that this is not from any lack of critical intelligence; the younger Almasy is simply not vocal about her opinions. Like Raine, she believes that action is better at giving way to change. Please note that she is much better than Raine at non-reactionary responses. This lack of a confrontational nature makes her difficult to provoke. It is easy to suspect that there is some hidden wisdom in her innocuous behaviour.
Sanya is well known for being cheerful, and she wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to the people who matter. It is obvious to anyone that she adores her sister much in the way that common ivy might adore the sun. Fortunately for everyone else the two do
not spend every waking moment together, and Sanya's affectionate nature works wonders on other schoolmates as well. There is rarely a mean word in her mouth and she is generous about everything: clothes, food, love, kisses, hugs, help.
In terms of academic ability, Sanya is a hard worker but also an aimless one. Often it seems that she studies for the sake of studying. She is many years away of from realizing that Knowledge is her god and path. At this moment she intends to become either a Healer or a Dancer - two fields she excels at, and enjoys.
Underneath her warm nature and likeable personality, the Ravenclaw
does have the capacity to be quite unpleasant. Surprisingly so. It is a side she mostly shows to her sister, by necessity rather than choice.
History: You enter this world alone, and you die alone: this is a sad fact of life.
Unless you have a twin. Raine and Sanya Almasy began their lives together as a single narrative. They were born to Roman and Eliza Almasy. The former, a bastard son of an aristocratic Purist clan in Moscow. The latter, a muggleborn witch. They were a prosperous family who occupied an opulent home in the altogether uneventful village of Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
The Almasy Clan is a pureblood matriarchal Russian family whose historical roots can be traced back centuries, mingling with the aristocratic pedigrees of other European lineages - namely those of Hungary, Slovakia, France and Germany. Contemporary strains of the clan reach as far as Morocco and North Africa.
As twins are considered good omens by the Almasy Clan, the rift between Roman and his extended family was healed by the incidental fact that his daughters had developed as separate embryos from a singular zygote. To present day, Roman and his family enjoy excellent relations with the rest of the clan.
In addition to their daughters, Roman and Eliza were also blessed with the company of the girls’ inscrutable aunt: Ira Almasy.
CHILDHOODRaine and Sanya were brought up with no expense spared to their classical education. They went nowhere without one another, but managed (even under the tutelage of a single unpleasant governess) to develop separate interests.
By the time they came of age to enter Hogwarts, Raine had achieved her first title as a young fencing Champion. Sanya was an excellent ballet dancer. Both witches spoke fluent Russian and French, as well as passable Italian. They were exposed to muggle elements but rarely dabbled in modern devices. Music was a highlight of their lives and they were tutored in separate instruments with the sole emphasis of being able to play duets with one another. Nothing could part them at this point of their life.
HOGWARTSNothing except for the Sorting Hat.
Their single narrative split into two the moment Sanya Almasy saw her sister being sorted into Gryffindor - and found herself in the house of blue and silver instead. She took the separation better than Raine. There would be no late nights up together in the dorms or mutual homework sessions in the common room. No matching ties or shared house spirit.
The disappointment did not last long, so caught up were the girls in this new environment. They made friends without trouble - Sanya had taken to Alex Carstairs almost instantly, as they lived in the same county after all, and socialised even better with Gryffindors than Raine (whose fondness for Slytherins seemed troubling for only a short while). They functioned under the general rule that any one who laid a finger on an Almasy would have her twin to whom they must answer.
This was mostly advantageous to Sanya, even if she wasn't really much of a troublemaker. She enjoyed her sister's protectiveness and developed a kind of blind loyalty, while understanding only in part how emotionally dependent Raine was on her simply being around.
Years passed quickly at Hogwarts. One Almasy joined the Quidditch team while the other cheered brilliantly from the stands. Together, they made up for separate common rooms by training to be Animagi. A Caracal and a Hare by the end of third year. That was also the year the sisters met Roger Lemon. The three were friends, instantly, although Sanya suspected that perhaps she was in fact a third wheel to amorous possibilities.
Now, no longer possibilities. At least not after Arthur Lemon walked into their lives.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Sanya Almasy loves to study, and she doesn't know why. Her ability to absorb, classify and utilize information plays only a small part in this natural inclination for the mastery of knowledge. Although she does not give the impression that her life revolves around such notions, Sanya is devoted to learning new things and to the exploration of the unknown. It is the instinct that pushed her to become an Animagus, to discover hypothetical worlds inside books and growing eternities outside of them.
She would have made a wonderful teacher.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: A 5th year Ravenclaw student with a penchant for merrymaking, music, and art. Sanya is a joy to be around and never presses her friends to be anything more than what they want. She is extremely bright in spite of a vehement desire not to appear as such. Her older twin sister is Raine Almasy; they were born precisely five minutes and twenty seven seconds apart but find it difficult to believe that one could have breathed freely for so long while the other did not. Sanya Almasy passed away in August 2009.
