Hexy
Hexy drank the last of her plum bubble juice as Sophie fawned over the makeup set. "Most of it is for performances. Although in the muggle troupes I have to keep it locked down to the single tray format."
She chewed her lip, contemplating looks for the night out. Even for being a late bloomer in terms of appreciating makeup, Hexy never wanted to take longer than 10 minutes for any style. Stories of girls who took close to 30 minutes primping, even with magical methods, still boggled her mind. She also wanted it easy to remove if she tired of trying something. Or emergencies.
"Don't open that drawer," Hexy said as Sophie examined lipsticks, pointing to one of the foldouts with a worn handle. "I dumped spent tubes in there until I could trash them and something bled out, so it now reeks." Eying the darker red Sophie fancied, she also suggested "If you like that one, this is called 'Pepper Imp Kiss Spicy Lipstick,' almost like the hot candies."
Said lipstick being a deep red umber, almost black, with fiery crimson glitter that she sat next to Sophie's selection.
"As for me," Hexy idly spun through some shelves before stopping at a nostalgic area. "Dare I go green so close to that holiday?" It was the Tetrawizard Tournament collection, having the Durmstrang shade of green, next to hues taken from other school crests like eye-shadow in Beauxbatons blue or purple lipstick with silvery metallic finish matching Salem Witches Institute of Magic.
"I don't plan on being fancy," Hexy agreed, "this isn't a night at the Pendragon Hotel. Depends if you'd rather match or accent your skirt, I reckon." She slumped back into the couch. Heck, she'd almost wear the same outfit she wore now, being oddly unsure of what to wear.
