Were godparents still a thing? Flynn had no idea. Very few of his friends were parents, and Audrey hadn't given Linus any godparents. But it wasn't unheard of. Wasn't it usually a religious thing? He wasn't sure.

He thought for a second about it, but then Jules dropped the question-- asking if he would be willing to be the godfather to her children. "I'm not sure what that means," He replied honestly, letting out a light laugh. As he smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkled. "Uh, I'd be honored." He counted Jules among his dear friends. Some might say it was an unlikely friendship, but it somehow worked. Being coworkers and in charge of their individual floors during the last few crises could make or break an amiable relationship. Flynn was in the privileged postion of finding himself feeling close to his coworkers.

".... What am I supposed to do? Give them birthday presents and whatnot?" Obviously.

"Uh, I'd be honored."

Jules was never into family, always having found it odd that people were supposed to care so deeply about people who they didn't choose to be around and oftentimes that they didn't even like. Jules hadn't spoken to her parents in a good ten years. It wasn't sad, it was better for all parties. Jules preferred to be alone and never saw herself creating a family... but she had to admit, she liked it.

Well. Maybe not the part about three babies. But she considered Flynn to be a member of her 'found family,' and having him as godfather to her babies made it feel sort of official. She found it very lame and a little bit disgusting that she was getting so sentimental.

".... What am I supposed to do? Give them birthday presents and whatnot?"

At this comment Jules' face reverted back to its usual glare. Was he implying that he wouldn't have been gifting her children otherwise?!  "Of course," Jules told him. "And free babysitting. Lots and lots of free babysitting," she added matter-of-factly. She let out a breath and leaned back in her chair. Talking about babysitting reminded her. Three babies. "Fucking fuck," she sighed. "I'm gonna have to move house."
