Physical Description:
 Flynn stands at 6’1 in height, and has a slim—but not wiry—build.. His shoulders are slightly narrower than the average male’s, and are more rounded than angular. Although he is very slim, he is also muscular. However, it isn’t very noticeable due to the fact that his muscles are very lean, rather than bulky. His legs are slender, and proportionately, his body suits itself. His skin tone changes depending on how often he is out in the sun, though generally it’s fairly pale to average,

His jaw is well defined, and his cheekbones are set rather high, giving his face a rather slender look to it. Flynn’s nose is straight and curves at the end. The very mass of his nose is tiny, giving it a rather effeminate look. Flynn’s eyes are large of a hazel hue. Sometimes his eyes look green, and sometimes they look brown-- depending on what he is wearing and his general health. His hair color is approximately the same shade of his eyes. Flynn smiles often, and his eyes have a tendency to crinkle up when he does so.  His hair length varies, depending on his mood and level of laziness. At the moment, he keeps it at a medium length.  Flynn doesn’t take much care to brush his hair, so it falls wherever it wants. Often times, he can be found with a bit of stubble on his face. He enjoys having facial hair, but it takes a long time for it to grow out.

Flynn likes to wear dress shirts and slacks, though he is honestly not picky about what he’s wearing. If it’s in his closet, even if it’s a hideous pink color, he won’t hesitate to wear it. As long as it’s clean, it’s wearable. He does not care about what is in style, and prefers comfort over class. Despite this, most of his attire involves cardigans, sweatervests, jackets, ties, and vests. His socks rarely match. He has several pairs of reading glasses that he wears on occasion. Sometimes, Flynn will wear hats to make himself feel like a ladies’ man.

Although his mother is a veela, he lacks the veela charm. It is a running joke in his family, that his mother is not his real mom. He has inherited some traits from her, such as her pale skin and tiny nose, but otherwise does not look much like her. His hair coloring comes from both sides, as his father is rather dark.  In general, Flynn is embarrassed that his mother is a veela, and he somehow does not have her charm. He wishes he had it, so he could attract the ladies.

Personality Description:
 Flynn is friendly, bluntly honest, and loyal. He is imaginative, and enjoys playing piano in his spare time. Although he is not a seer, he is highly intuitive. He seems to be eternally youthful in the sense that he is very spirited and playful. He enjoys making horrible puns, and coming up with the worst pickup lines in the world. He is incredibly forgiving and tolerant, and rather easy to manipulate. Flynn is gullible, and will probably believe the most ridiculous of lies as long as he trusts the person who is lying to him.

He is easily concerned about others, but due to his profession, he has trained himself to become detached when he grows concerned. This often gives the appearance that he does not care, though deep down he does care. Even when detached, this fellow exudes a gentle warmth. Flynn is sociable, and he truly loves people. However, he also values his own privacy and personal space. When he wants to be left alone, he gets irritable to those who pester him and get into his space.

When Flynn gets in an argument where feelings ultimately get hurt, he is often the first to apologize. He does not enjoy remaining in a conflict for long.

Flynn considers himself to be a lifelong learner, with a particular interest in history, herbology, and healing potionwork. He enjoys making potions in his spare time, and tests them on himself. Sometimes, he gets extremely ill and has to be a patient of St. Mungos from time to time.


History:
Flynn’s mother (Ruzena) is a veela, and his father (Ianto) is a half-blood wizard. He has one older sister (Audrey) who has veela charm. He was born and raised in London. Living in the city has given him an appreciation of nature when he sees it. His father was very knowledgeable about different magical plants, and their properties. He passed his knowledge and his passion onto his son. Despite his jealousy of his mother, he was very close to both of his parents. He tells them everything, and they have an open, honest, healthy relationship. His parents were lower-middle class, but Flynn never felt deprived of the things that other families could afford.

Flynn, growing up in a magical household, does not know much about muggles. Flynn has a mild interest in muggles, but that interest is not strong enough for him to go out of his way to get information.

Growing up with a beautiful mother and sister proved to be challenging. He became wary of any males who wanted to be around him, due to the fact that his mother was a veela. His male friends gravitated towards her, and he even got jealous from the attention she received. He attended Hogwarts, and was in the Ravenclaw house. His older sister, on the other hand, was a Slytherin. Due to anxiety issues, she was taken out of school after her fifth year and homeschooled and privately tutored to complete her education. Throughout school, he did above average in all his classes, as was expected of someone in Ravenclaw. The only subjects that he had incredible passion for were potions, charms, and herbology. He was never a head boy or a prefect—there were plenty of other people in his class who were better qualified.

His worst year at Hogwarts was definitely his sixth, when Voldemort had taken over the ministry. While he wasn't a good duelist, he did his best during the Battle of Hogwarts to pull injured fighters to safety and heal them. This experience is what made him sure that he wanted to become a healer.

After he left Hogwarts, he went to work at St. Mungos. He was a healer in training for several years, and eventually got a job on the fourth floor to deal with spell damage. There have been a few girlfriends here and there, though none of them were too serious.  He has several acquaintances, but very few friends. He is considering going out to meet more people, and attempt to build friendships.  He spends a lot of time visiting his parents when he can, and is very much a momma’s boy. His favorite friend is Cassidy, a fellow nerd that he graduated with.

Within the ten years since he graduated, he has not been in a serious relationship, though he has had a few brief romances and flings. He is  not looking for a more serious relationship,but is not completely opposed.

He has travelled twice while on vacation, to Ireland and America.  Flynn enjoyed his travels, though he has no intention of going back alone. He currently lives alone, in a small flat in London, with his two pets. He owns a small, ugly dog named Henry, and a grumpy female cat named Mildred.  He is looking to buy the perfect owl, but cannot find one that he likes as of yet.  At home, he tries to train his animals to do simple household tasks, and he does potionswork and reads.

His life is a fairly simple, happy, uncomplicated one; Flynn considers himself to the luckiest fellow alive. He lives comfortably and saves his money, though he feels a bit overwhelmed by the new salary he got with his promotion to Healer-in-Charge.

Describe your job duties and how you go about them:
Although he enjoys the Potions and Plant poisoning floor, he lands himself there enough that he doesn't feel like it suits him to work there. He works on the spell damage floor, dealing with long term patients. He takes care of their health through potions, spells, and any other means necessary.

Elaborate on your expertise in your field:
Flynn has natural, raw talent when it comes to medicinal magic. He did not receive anything lower than "Exceeds Expectations" on his NEWTS, and he has gone through all the training necessary for his position.
