S.W.E.E.P
The S.W.E.E.P department is an specialized auror department within the Congress of American Witches and Wizards (CAWW).
S.W.E.E.P stands for Security, Weapons, Extraction, Elimination, and Protocol. Sweepers typically operate in teams, but may also be dispatched for individual assignments. They are seen as the most loyal to the cause of protecting the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy and the wizarding world. The ‘dirty work’ they do generally involves missions that are covert , high-risk and require operating outside the usual magical laws. These Sweepers would also investigate possible security risks at CAWW and other magical institutions.
Appearance
Their standard attire consists out of a dark blue cloak with black trim, black tactile body armor, black balaclava or scarf to cover their faces. They wear the caww signia and silver rank stripes for official duties.
Higher-ranked sweepers wear unique animal masks, each of which is worn by only one individual at a time. Known masks include:
