| Summary: | Following the Herbology final fiasco that earned him expulsion from the course, Casey is brooding on the Hogwarts Express after costing Slytherin the House Cup. Vulpes Connor, an older student, is the one friendly face in Slytherin that stops by Casey's compartment to see how he's doing. Casey nearly blows a gasket saying too much about the dysfunctions of the O'Doherty family. But Vulpes is able to get Casey to realize he's overlooked his mother's strife compared to his own.
