The company specialise in flying cars but make a limited run of vans. Their business buyers like the expandable insides that are the size of a classroom inside. Some designs are like an expandable tent which you can live in. Like a Muggle caravan.

Blue Silver is due to launch its line of magical flying motorcycles in 2018 in the UK.

2018

Blue Silver is one of the leading flying car companies selling both in the United States and in Europe.

Monty has expanded the business to a workshop in Britain, but the cars are still manufactured in the US, and he splits his time back and forth there.

2012

Monty Pepper was successful in his campaign to convince the British to allow flying cars. Prior to this, he had managed to exploit a loophole by importing the cars uncharmed, and performing the charms on them on the quiet once they were with their new owner.

2010

Monty began his campaign for the flying car in Britain. He used stunts and convinced friends like Branwen Strangely[1]. Francis Pepper and Gabrielle Pepper escape a dementor attack in one of the cars.[2]

1989-2009

The company was in trouble at the end of 1989, with the original owner looking to sell up and retire. He'd been fined for a severe breach of secrecy and couldn't afford to continue. The cars were reminiscent of the Clénet Coachworks (Clénet was a Muggle automobile series with old retro styling, mixed with modern technology).

Monty bought the man's work for a ridiculously low price, moved into his buildings and set up Blue Silver as his own. Nobody seemed keen to touch it - sure that the reputation would linger. Strangely enough, with a rather brash Brit at the helm, the reputation was soon forgotten, and Monty became immersed in the culture, magical art and market of the flying car industry.

Octavius painted his first adverts, and customised a car with his own paintwork. He used it to get around and market the company, using his knowledge of bewitching paint to create a car that turned heads. Monty Pepper always created enough of a stir, but was cautious never to be the leader - knowing he couldn't generate too much attention or a paradox could ensue. Either way, what marketing he did was always a little controversial in his methods.

Monty visited shows, important sales, growing the business.

California Headquarters

Described in detail: [3]

The Blue Silver HQ is a hangar. Inside witches and wizards perfect metalwork, paintwork and lean over engines with their wands weaving complicated charms.

An adjoining building is was darker, and altogether warmer. The air has a strong metallic tang, like an alchemy lesson on a grand scale is taking place inside. There were a line of pegs near the door, where heavy aprons hang, dark glass goggles and other odd looking uniform.

Round a corner and to the right were great cauldrons of molten metal glowing over great green fires. The heat would be unbearable were it not for the shield charms which held like bubbles. Inside the air ripples and wavers around the globules of metal. Right in the middle of it are two enormous half-giants, wearing goggles and heavy aprons and dragonhide gloves. They manipulate the metal with magic and might.

This is exactly what you need to start the bodywork. Metal gets melted down and then pressed into sheets or poured into casts. The presses battering down rhythmically on the metal to the left are noisy. Steam escapes up into the roof and cold water boils in an instant. It is a startling, humid but busy place to be.

Beyond here is the metal workshop. The sunlit room is relatively cool and no need for goggles etc. Pistons, nuts, bolts, engine bodies, wing mirrors, and all number of car parts dance steadily out of crates and down long tables under their own volition, while yet more of the Blue Silver team check and correct any work with all manner of unusual tools.

On one side of the hangar are parked a variety of different coloured cars, where polishing cloths fly over their paintwork and chrome. Beside them are some larger vehicles that look more like small lorries or vans, which are less fancy in their bodywork and altogether more practical. There is also a line of motorbikes.
