Porta-Pots are enchanted garden pots which allow for the transfer of botanical material planted inside. There are commercial and domestic versions, really taking off with the everyday wix who tire of specialized spells to move or summon their Herbological plantings.

Usage

After setup, the wix only has to tap their wand against the pot to complete the transfer. Some use a network of pots to move a given plant around various areas, or to rotate displays with each pot having different plants. The more expensive model offers better security and customized passphrases for triggering the transfer at short range.

Non-magical or low-magical plants (including molds, spores & fungus) transfer the best, with minimal ornamentation. Highly magical, aggressive or sapient plants are not recommended to transfer with the publicly available domestic model of Porta-Pots. The plant may resist the transfer or cause accidents. Examples include Venomous Tentacula or Baybarb.

Porta-Pots are regulated by the Department of Magical Transportation.
