Mills County Magic School
The Mills County Magic School is a public magical school located in southwest Iowa in the US in the town of Pacific Junction. The classes are held in an old school building that closed when the district consolidated. Enchantments disguise the school as vacant and boarded up to muggles.
Like many rural public magic schools, almost all students attend muggle school full time so lessons are held outside of normal school hours. Students begin in 4th grade (age 10) and attend through 12th grade (age 18). All magical children may enroll and there is no cost.
This school serves many small towns in Mills and other nearby counties. At any given time, there are typically 100 to 150 students.
Magical educations are not required, but most magical children attend.
