The origins of the Hag Market (or Heks Market) go back to pre-Roman times in Britain as a way for witches to gather and share reagents. As time wore on it became more and more secret and an alternative to more regulated markets for magical goods and services; organized crime and dark or marginalized magical beings took advantage of the space for this reason.

The market itself moves from place to place on a hidden schedule. The worst of magical things can be found there. Nothing has a set price and haggling and bargains are often magically bound with blood and hexes. It's a dangerous place to be if you don't belong.
