Peyton Wentworth is a Ravenclaw Graduate (Class of 2011). He is the grandson of Arathorn Wentworth and half-brother to Xavier Tawse. Peyton is the kind of guy you want to be your friend. He's kind gentle charming and sometimes funny. He's a strong loyal friend who isn't afraid to tell people what he thinks of them. He feels everyone has a chance to be his friend but won't push the matter on someone who doesn't want it. He's a strong and devoted Quidditch player on a path to professional play. The only problem is it often consumes him to the point where he forgets to do homework.
History
Peyton grew up in a very loving and warm family. His mother was fascinated by the whole concept of the wizarding world and so from a very young age Peyton was taught about his heritage. He saw his father every so often but with a large house, their own house elf and a few other servants Peyton's mother never struggling as a single mom. She was able to focus on raising him and not having to worry about anything getting done. She was supplied by Henry's vast wealth and was able to give her son everything he wanted. Peyton's muggle grandparents were even active in his life although they weren't aware of his wizarding heritage, they just believed Angie had married a very wealthy and respectable man.
Peyton learned to ride a broom at a young age and with living out in the country had no problems zooming around their property. It was often a struggle to get him to come inside. Rain or shine Peyton would be out on that broom. Even his tutors had a hard time getting him off the broom to do his work. Courtesy of Henry Peyton was given both a wizarding tutor and a muggle tutor. Since his muggle tutor was actually a muggle Peyton was forbidden from riding his broom before his lessons with her.
Peyton saw his father on a reasonably regular basis and understood that he was a very important man and couldn't always be around. He knew his father loved him and never thought it was weird that he didn't live with them. When he was eight years old Peyton's Dad came home to stay. He didn't work nearly as much and the two instantly bonded. Peyton couldn't have been happier having his father with him.
By the time he was old enough to go to Hogwarts he had already learned a few cool things from his dad but bought all his school supplies with his mother. His father had explained that he had some important business to attend to and wasn't able to get back in time. Peyton had a hard time sleeping the whole week before school started and when he finally arrived he was sorted into Ravenclaw.
As the years went by in school Peyton proved himself to be a swell guy, making plenty of friends across the years and houses. He thought it was silly to avoid genuinely nice people just because they were in a different house. Since his second year Peyton's had a fairly regular spot upon the Ravenclaw Quidditch team although practices and what not have often come between him and his school work. Peyton's received several warnings about focusing more on his work and less on Quidditch.
Although Peyton has tried to make friends with as many people as possible there has been one since the start of school that he's constantly butted heads with, Xavier Tawse of Slytherin. The fake charm and suave weren't enough to fool Peyton and he's often called the younger man out on it. He thinks the guy's despicable and a complete fake and although he believes not all Slytherins are evil Tawse certainly is.
