Short Bio: Zachary stopped being Zachary when he was about seven years old and everyone kept telling him he's got zero self-preservation instincts. Which is a fact that basically defines him. Zero is pretty calm and collected, funny sometimes, the dry-humor sort of kind, but his main issue is that he has a constant death wish. Daredevil doesn't even begin to cover this guy. Quidditch had been the start to his death seeking adventure, only to be followed by trips to the Forbidden Forest night after night, to trying the most dubious substances to actively seeking out dragon dens and visiting the most haunted places in the entirety of England, this guy really wishes to meet Death.
His childhood had been a long chain of broken bones, flesh wounds and concussion after concussion. If there was a dangerous place to be in, or a dangerous thing to do that's where you'd find Zero. Hogwarts only provided more opportunities for the thrill seeker, but happily it also came with some brains, so while the danger level raised, the injury count diminished. Sort of. Out of an entire school year, Zero usually spent a quarter of it in the hospital wing or in detention.
He was immediately in love with CoMC, offering him the most opportunities to live life on the edge while not having to play the mind games of Aurory. Which is why it was obvious to him that he'd be joining the RCMC Dept. as soon as he was finished with Hogwarts and followed a one year apprenticeship with a Magizoologist. And so he did.
The thrill seeking doesn't stop at his job, in his spare time, he's still prone to activities that put his life on the line, whether it's picking out fights with sketchy men twice his size or living in a building that is about to collapse every time the metro passes or getting involved romantically with... technically unavailable people.
