Ava Daylight is a graduate student at the Laevenstrome's Fundunct of Sorcery in California, and is the daughter of CAWW official Thomas Daylight and magazine editor Aria Daylight. She has a twin brother Justin Daylight. She does not yet know about the existence of their half sister Natalie Morrow.
Ava went away to school at Salem Witches Institute in Massachusetts, and is now studying at Laevenstrome's. She is known in her family to be politically liberal, interested in literature, muggle-fluent, and a little snobby. While she talks about being pro-social and community-minded, she can't be relied upon in a pinch to always do the right thing.
She is close with her brother, critical (but loyal) of her father, and admiring of her mother (even if she thinks her career to be shallow).
