Haints is a distillery in Rockwood, Tennessee famous for its firewhiskey brand.

History

The distillery opened up in October 2009 and began to manufacture its own brand. Haints, slang for 'ghosts' in the Southern vernacular, was crucial to the formation and selling point for Julian Derryberry and his crew.

The first bottles given to the public started on October 29, 2010, and ended with a proper bonfire celebration November 9, 2010. Haints promises to be a steady competition for Ogden's and Blishen's, offering for the North American public as well as an eventual global wizard scene a taste of 'American glory' in every bottle.
